Note that in 2017 they opened a second store at 230 Broadway, Wisconsin Dell, WI. Both stores are great and this review applies to both stores. No bathrooms in the stores but, no stores in this area have bathrooms, there is a central bathroom for the area across the street from the 34 Broadway store. If you want quality then these stores are for you.

The shop has a huge selection of craftsman boots, western attire, and more. The owner was on site helping customers, and a couple of staff at the front and back registers made checkout seamless. I ended up finding boots that may not have been entirely handmade here in the USA, but they were the perfect fit and exactly one of the two styles I had in mind before entering the shop. After heading back home and changing into a dress paired with those boots, I immediately received compliments on my look at the festival I attended. Being able to see staff is a plus in this day and age, and the selection made it easy to find what I needed. The shop has a genuine vibe that makes browsing fun and inspiring. My gal pal had been in here prior while browsing the Dells and suggested this spot to me when I said I need new boots, and she was right. I pass the recommendation from her through me to you! This roadside store is part of the larger Wisconsin Dells mega complex, complete with its resorts / hotels, restaurants, and other attractions you would need. While I have visited during the down time, I'm glad I did, just so I don't have to deal with the crowds and the crazy traffic in and out of the Dells. This shop is basically your touristy souvenir shop. No real way of saying otherwise. With a private lot right off the highway, I proceeded to see if I could find something to take back with me. The shop was pretty loaded with stuff, as you can imagine. Wall to wall full of stuff that would make the shops in New Orleans or Las Vegas very much a competitor. There were some trinkets I opted to buy, although there were some Green Bay Packer fan stuff here too. Here in Wisconsin, it's all over the place anyway. The shop was empty of customers and the owners of the shop were in the front talking to each other when I breezed through the door. I could sense that it was the dead season aka off peak around here, especially when I was told it can get really crowded. I didn't mind though. Crazy can get crazy. Prices were true to form and very inexpensive. I got some souvenirs, along with a Native American dream catcher, since I've always wanted one - but never gotten one yet. The store itself is likened to a CVS or a Walgreens due to its floor space. It's big, but it doesn't have freezers or over the counter drugs! The overall service and ambiance of this place was goodly average. I wasn't pressured to by anything, so that was comforting. I would say that you can shop here for your needs, but I needed to price compare and shop around the dells, since there is a large assortment of stuff around. Majority of them are just silly things like t-shirts and stuff associated with the Wisconsin Dells or Wisconsin itself, so that's comforting to know. There are other things here as well, like a smorgasbord of things that could appeal to your fancy. If you are ever in the neighborhood and need a momento of your trip to Wisconsin and the Dells, come to this place, but you can definitely shop around to see the variety. Support local! B

I remember there being countless unique and different flavors to mix and match in a bag, and there were maybe 10 total that day (none of which were super uncommon either). Candy is also no longer scoop your own either. It's all in prepacked bags. That being said, the homemade truffles and chocolates are still top of the line!

This store has literally been here forever and I remember it from my childhood…read more I have a suspicion that this store has been severely hurt by the pandemic, the economy, tight labor market and the invasion of water parks. My recent visit consisted of: friendly welcoming faces working here, relatively reasonable prices, and severely empty store shelves. The place was clean, albeit old. I hope this store can find a way to remain viable for long into the future.
