Needless to say I'll be coming to her anytime I need professional makeup done.

I reached out to a few stylists, but Alex was one of the first to respond, and from the very beginning, she stood out to me. Not only was her work stunning, she patiently educated me about the process, was fully transparent and gracious with her pricing, and made sure I knew exactly what to expect! Her communication was absolutely top-notch, she was always quick to respond, and even answered random bridal questions I threw her way (like asking for a wedding planner recs -- shoutout to Cassie @ClassyKayEvents!) Alex was truly there for me every step of the way and made the entire process so easy and stress-free. Beyond Alex herself, her team was just as wonderful! From my bridal preview to the wedding day, they were my ultimate hype women. Kaitlyn (makeup) and Jesica (hair) were both so talented, kind, and professional. They not only made me look amazing, but also made me feel so supported and confident. I should mention -- I'm not a hair and makeup girl at all. I usually only wear makeup for special occasions, and even then it's pretty minimal. But these ladies made me feel so beautiful that I actually wish I did my hair and makeup more often! Also my skin can be temperamental but after their application, I had zero issues. On the day of the wedding, the team was early, organized, and ready to go. Alex had created an incredible timeline for all 11 of my bridesmaids, and her team (Kaitlyn, Jesica, Kari, and Karina) worked seamlessly together to keep everything running smoothly. They were not only efficient but also so sweet and willing to help with anything that popped up. I'm unbelievably impressed and beyond grateful to Alex and her amazing team! They made me feel so beautiful, calm, and special on one of the most important days of my life. My only regret is that I can't relive it all again!

After a few different sketches of both brows we were both pleased with the blue print she sketched! So, it is going to hurt when she first starts... But hold on!! The beginning is the worst part! Alyssa was ready to stop if I needed a break and was so calming and soothing. She made conversation to help distract me too! In no time the worst part was over and she applied the numbing cream and I was instantly numb. The rest of the session was a breeze! I am so in love with my results and it's only been 24 hours. For my engagement, I went with someone else, and it was a disaster--my makeup melted, creased, and just didn't last. I knew I couldn't risk that for my wedding. From the start, Elisa was so patient and really listened to what I wanted. I told her I needed my makeup to look natural and, most importantly, not crease on my face. She remembered every detail and delivered beyond my expectations. My makeup stayed flawless all day, and I received so many compliments from friends and family! Elisa is worth every penny--trust me, you don't want to look anything less than stunning on your wedding day. I highly recommend booking her. You won't regret it!

About three months before the event, I scheduled a trial for both myself and my daughter. The trial took three hours, and unfortunately, the hairstyles didn't come out as we envisioned--especially given we both have curly hair, which I felt she had limited experience with. I let Elisa know our concerns, and while she did offer another trial, it would've meant spending even more money (we had already paid $165), and I didn't feel confident that things would improve. I also became concerned about timing--Elisa mentioned we'd need to start at 5 a.m. to be ready by 9:30 a.m., which felt rushed and stressful for such an important day. I started looking for additional help and found someone to assist with hair, hoping Elisa could just focus on makeup. When I shared this with her, she chose to release me from the contract entirely, refusing to do any services, and declined to refund my deposit. She said she had turned down two weddings to hold our date, which I understand, but I was disappointed that she wasn't willing to work with me on a compromise--especially when I still wanted to use her for makeup. After that, she stopped responding altogether. In the end, I was out nearly $300 and left scrambling just two months before the event with no room left in our budget for more trials. What was supposed to reduce stress only added to it. This has honestly been the most stressful part of planning the quinceañera.
