My house here in TN was new when I bought it. The AC was completed as part of the build. Parts for it are nearly impossible to get even though it's less than two years old. Chad was my guy. He was the guy my builder turned me on to as his AC guy. While Chad had no real say in what was installed into this home (builder states what goes in), he did all he could to get it working correctly. Unfortunately, having a new home with a 2nd story unit that just wasn't working was not ok with me. Chad wanted to make it right. Again, he knew what was installed and that it wasn't really what he would have done himself. He was under zero obligation to do anything but try and order parts under warranty. Again, they are nowhere to be had. What makes Pearson's above the rest is that he wanted me, the customer, made right. He initiated and remedied this whole crappy situation by removing the entire system and replacing it with one HE trusts, at his own expense. One that HE KNOWS if needed, the manufacturer, will make things right ASAP! What was a bad choice and a failure was a Rheem Heatpump. As far as I'm concerned, avoid Rheem like the Plague. What Chad replaced it with was a York. Good name. Good product. It's still a family owned and run manufacturer. Wow! It's quiet and it works!!!!! Chad at Pearson Heating and Cooling has my 100% support in anything he does. He and his folks are top knotch. Customer service is a thing of a past and these guys bleed it. I don't even know where to start. My HVAC is only 3 years old and hasn't given us any problem. I…read morecalled Solace to schedule a tune-up. Nothing fancy; just clean and check the unit for the summer. That's when they came to my house and told me that my unit had over five problems, including leaking refrigerant, bad capacitors, electrical work, etc. Funny enough, their first quote was for 8k, which was to "fix these terrible problems." However, they gave me another crazier solution, to get a brand new unit, which was only 2 tons for a small house for 11k. Kid, you not. I went and got a second opinion, and as I suspected, my HVAC connections weren't the prettiest, but had no problems. The other HVAC professional also found out that they only cleaned a portion of the unit, so he installed a new disconnect, re-did my drain line, sealed my flashing, and rewashed my unit for $600 bucks. Do it at your own risk. I have never seen something like this, not even when I used to live in NY they tried to upcharge me like that.

He was in and out in less than 10 minutes turns out it was just a tripped fuse which I missed my mistake. But they ended up charging us $139 something so little! I asked him to please charge us less that was just too much and he said nope can't do that. Of course we called back, asking to speak to management. They didn't get back to us. 3 more calls later over half a week I finally got a manager to call me back. Said the guy only charged us $60 to flip the switch, the other $79 was a "dispatch fee". Yes I looked at the box and missed the tripped switch I thought I got them all but come on we payed $139 for 10 minutes of work. They refused to refund us anything from their overpriced fees. Best he could was waive some fees on our next call. Spoiler alert there isn't going to be a next call with the way we were treated. Hey Lee Company, don't treat people like this. Just because times are tough doesn't mean you should rob us blind. I feel very much taken advantage of.
