Finding that all in one company is nearly impossible -- but I found it with Jose and J. Gudiel Landscape. Jose came out to see my house and discuss what I wanted. I was away when they first came to work but when I got home, even in the dark, I could tell they had been at the house and did a great job weeding, trimming trees and mowing. I am very happy with the quality of their work and attention to detail. I then asked Jose to help clean up an overgrown section of the property to prepare it for a playground. Jose made some suggestions and was able to start right away. His team worked long days in the heat and everyone was very nice. My kids and I liked watching the trucks and tractors and seeing the progress. We were very happy with the outcome. I am very happy with J. Joseph and his team came out to us in Chepachet 2 weeks ago for a complete lawn cleanup - while…read morethey did a great job with the work that was done, the job was left unfinished (full sections left untouched). When I asked about it, and subsequently asked if he was returning to complete, he expressed that there was no room left in his truck as to the reason why it was left undone. He did end up coming back the next morning to finish, and did a good job. But he was going to just leave it unfinished if I didn't say anything? We paid his company $1200 to take care of everything and it's disheartening to know that we almost got ripped off intentionally. We did tell him that we were interested in biweekly service for mowing and weed whacking, to which he would not give us a quote. Fast forward to today (our first visit - only 2 weeks since they were last here), and again he refused to give a quote which I thought was strange, as he is already familiar with the property and also knows how much growth there is. Once the job was finished, he texted me that it would cost a whopping $145. All other landscapers in the area charge less than half that for the same (or more) work to be done - typically $50-75 every 2 weeks. Ripped off yet again. When I questioned why the rate was so high, I was met with disrespect, vulgar language, and threats - see screenshots. Neighbors beware of this disrespectful scam artist.
