History
Established in 2005.
Shortly after arriving on Kauai back in 2005 , I landed my first personal chef job — a leap that turned into a 20-year journey cooking for diverse clients across the Hawaiian Islands, along both coasts, and in the mountain elegance of Aspen, Colorado. Each destination shaped my style: island freshness, coastal refinement, seasonal mountain cuisine — always grounded in thoughtful preparation and genuine hospitality.
Today, returning to my hometown in coastal Georgia, I will deliver that same elevated, restaurant-quality, dining experience to clients in Savannah, Hilton Head , St Simons, and Sea Island. I look forward to working with you.
Meet the Business Owner: Kevin B.
Born and raised in Savannah, Kevin began cooking at 15 in local seafood restaurants, building a strong foundation in coastal Southern cuisine. After high school, he refined his skills at the working at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Florida before taking his talents abroad cooking in surf camps in Nicaragua and El Salvador.
In 2005, Kevin landed on Kauai and began his career as a private chef, spending the next 20 years cooking for diverse clients across the Hawaiian Islands, both U.S. coasts, Aspen, and Dallas. Now back home in Savannah, he brings decades of experience, global influence, and warm Southern hospitality to his clients through KB Cooks.
