My electric bike stopped working and wouldn't even power on. After trouble shooting with the vendor that the battery wasn't the issue, the vendor support sent several parts to install. At that time I contacted Darrell at Kaz Bike Repair. After installing the new parts, the bike still wasn't even powering on. Darrell was extremely patient and competent in communicating with the vendor support, and doing a multitude of tests and troubleshooting on his own to finally determine what the problem was and restore the bike to working condition. Darrell was very professional in keeping me updated throughout an extremely frustrating situation, and persisted in ultimately fixing the bike, when I think most people would have thrown up their hands and given up. I did not have a bike problem, but did have a push golf cart With a bike like brake system problem. During the pandemic, I reached out to see if they may be able to fix it. Right away responded, with a positive and with a price estimate. Estimate was reasonable so I made an appointment to drop off the cart. When he looked at it, he diagnosed the problem immediately, and was able to fix it within 5 minutes!! And he would not accept payment. I went to see Darrell at the Kaz Bike Lab yesterday to get a new tube put in my bike tire and he did a great job. His workshop is in his basement and he's got quite a setup of tools and parts down there. Great price, super fast and professional service, and conveniently located in downtown Regina.
