I figured it was about time I updated my review with Kayzoe, after all it was Kayzoe that popped my review cherry!
So, it has now been over two years since I started working with Kayzoe. They were literally the 5th company that I tried. I was so fed up with SEO company's selling me their "secret recipe" and only delivering empty results. But seeing my competitors rank so well convinced me there had to be some company out there that knew what they were doing.
Although not every step of the way with Kayzoe has been roses, I can tell you guys that they have delivered non-stop results. I can't speak for anyone else, but I can tell you my experience.
When I first started with Kayzoe I had very few keywords ranking on the top 5 pages of Google. When Kayzoe first ran their analysis on my website they told me they were pretty confident they an get me ranked pretty quickly, which is where I started backing off (having heard this story before). Nevertheless, they offered me their 90-Day guarantee, which says if my site isn't ranking within 90 days, they will start running my campaign for free.
The first month is where I hit my biggest road bump with them. About a week or two in to my campaign they said their more 'thorough' analysis came in and said that I had some really nasty backlinks that have been previously been built that could possibly negatively affect my campaign later on down the road. This is where they also told me they can't get the backlinks removed because the plan I was on didn't afford them the time to add this process because it took a lot of man hours. I got pretty upset with them because I was sure this was an attempt to up sell me.
Let's fast forward to today. I'm at the top of Google for a lot of my industries keywords. My company is doing really well and expanded a bit to keep up with the demand. Granted not all of the growth is from the SEO, we do also advertise on Yelp and do an amazing job!
In Conclusion:
The Good:
Solid SEO company. As I said in my original review, they built my website, which I feel is really solid. They were really good at helping me develop call to actions for my websites and small marketing campaigns with what they call Unique Value Propositions, I call it GOLD. I've had bumps in my rankings, some seasons have been better than others, but over all, I've consistently had keywords ranking really well.
The Bad:
They aren't the best at communicating. Now granted, I am huge on communications and can out talk the best talkers out there, but still. I like someone checking in with me every week, letting me know how my campaign is, letting me know what we can improve on, etc... But I guess that's asking a bit much...
Overall:
Figured I'd save my favorite part for last. They have the most awesome app. I downloaded it on my S6 and I can open it up any time to see where all of my keywords are ranking. Literally on the dot. It shows me my current rank, yesterday's rank, timelines, graphs, some confusing stuff, some less confusing stuff. It has been my favorite part since they started it a few months back.
Back to my overall... Overall, I've recommend a few of my friends to Kayzoe because I really like the work that they do. They are honest, up-front, admit when they've messed up (speaking from experience) and many times go out of their way to help you. Their office is really modern and laid back, they'll likely offer you a beer if it's close to closing hours, or challenge you to a game of fuseball/ping pong. But honestly, most all of that wouldn't matter if I didn't get my ROI. Message me anytime for a referral ! read more
