Boğaziçi Lokantası is a very good sample for those tremendous "Esnaf Lokantası"( little shop owners…read morelunch place) in Turkey. For those market places in all around Turkey, as in Anafartalar Çarsısı shop owners and surrounding of it and bureaucrats in old Ankara used to come this place since 1956. Although it changed it's character and turned out a bit more "touristic" nowadays, this is a unique sample for tasting great Turkish foods. It is not only kebaps or döner in Turkey. The price is affordable (1kg 74 TL).. The beoughborhood is a kinda not fancy, but it is safe. Honestly, I prefer eating good food at not fancy place than junk at expensive places.
