Heather is very energetic and extremely passionate about her work; because of this, she is very easy to work with and goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. I spent hours looking for a wedding photographer. What I personally liked about Heather, is the almost antique rustic feel to her photographs. This style was very fitting for my horse farm wedding. At the same time, I really love bright and high contrast photos. Heather made sure when delivering my wedding proofs that she implemented both of the styles that I addressed during our multiple discussion. In addition, my boudoir session with Heather went amazing. I had a very specific vision... I wanted my boudoir session to be set in a very industrial setting. Heather went ahead and secured a location for the shoot instantly after I showed her photos of my vision. Without her contact, I would not have been able to execute the look I was hoping for. My boudoir photos came out perfectly and the lighting was amazing. Even my makeup artist who is extremely well known in DC and has even done work for the Oprah magazine, etc. said that my boudoir photos were the best she has ever seen. Hello Brides, I am a…read morevery sad and disappointed customer who hired Emily and her company 405 Brides PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT HIRE EMILY AND HER COMPANY. They did not record any of the speeches fully. Most of our videos are just seconds long and their is no sound at all. :( it looks as if she had the camera in her pocket recording. And the photography; she didn't even take any pictures of our guests. She didn't get me waking down the stairs to show my train and they did not even capture it on video. On our consultation we spoke about what we wanted captured and she did not. We hired her and her husband but instead she brought her daughter who obviously did not know how to use a camera. We've asked for a full refund but has only given us $300 which we've tried to return but cannot because we used a credit card. Very unethical. It's been a nightmare with Emily and her company. She has offered a free stay at a hotel which we have declined. Only to find out she gets these vouchers for free. I can go on... I've dreamed of this day for so long and now my husband and I cannot go back and watch the footage and enjoy the photos we have asked for. I am very devastated. You will be relieved that you did not hire Emily and 405 brides, Emily Avila Photography, or 405 Images Photography, but in the end it's up to you. Please share to other brides. God bless.
