The whole experience was designed around my daughter. Erin spent time before the session getting to know here and helping her make clothing choices for the shoot. For the full Session we had makeup done and Erin was there to oversee every detail. The locations she had scouted were fantastic. She caught every hair that was blowing and every wrinkle and fixed them. Nothing was rushed, nothing was time over. From the full shoot to now, my daughter lost weight. After our initial meeting and contract, we thought everything was set. The negotiations and initial meeting and follow up was good. His portfolio looked amazing and we were excited to have him do our event. About 25 days before the wedding, we had reconfirmed what we wanted. Three weeks before the wedding, my wedding coordinator that had referred him to us called to say that he decided that he could not do the wedding. He never called me directly to explain or apologize. He has since reached out and said that it was a miscommunication with the venue. We scrambled for another photographer and fortunately found an amazing photographer and he was 25% less expensive than Anthony David. We were very disappointed but it all worked out to our benefit. So, wife to be does her research and gets good ground level intel and gives Amy at And How! a call. She saw her work and heard great things about her. Wednesday is the wedding day...and she was calling on MONDAY. (I wasn't lying when I said it was at the last moment). Even though Amy had a shoot booked for that day, she so kindly rearranged things a little and, BAM, we got ourselves a photographer. Wife to be had several ideas of locations, shots, and even examples of what she wanted. Amy loved all of that and there was a lot of back and forth between the two to come up with some great locations. On the big day, Amy was right on time and ready to go. We had a blast with her as we drove to a bunch of different locations throughout Nashville. She had some great ideas, and between her and my wife, we really ended up with a ton of amazing pictures. Honestly, after seeing what my wife wanted to duplicate and seeing what Amy actually shot, I thought that Amy's work was better time and time again.
