I remember going in for a consultation with Todd with about a month to go before Vien and I's wedding day. Just the fact that he was willing to see us in such short notice was already a good sign that this guy was alright. Our wedding location had to be moved last minute due to the Thomas fire. Todd was referred to us by the original pastor we were going to use. We contacted him with only 7 days till our date and jumped on a call with him to discuss details. He was very organized and walked us through how the whole ceremony would look. Todd married my husband and I a few weeks ago. We had planned to have a friend marry us and as the wedding date quickly approached our friend got cold feet. Trying not to panic I pulled out the "preferred vendors" list supplied to us by our venue and there were a few officiants on it. I looked up Todd and emailed him. I immediately got a response back from his assistant setting up a meeting and I text messaged my Fiance and told him we had a meeting and I had a good feeling. From the moment we met Todd we were so happy. We left the meeting, got in the car and both looked at eachother and said I am so happy with him. He made everything seem less complicated. He had vow samples and all sorts of things for us and we left there feeling like we just had to fill in the blanks and make it our own instead of having to come up with every single word and detail for the ceremony. The wedding day quickly approached and I received an email the morning of the wedding from Todd letting me know he had a mass at the church he had to do and he just wanted to make sure I knew that he would be there before the ceremony was to start but didn't want me to stress if I didn't see him the 45 minutes before. He arrived perfectly on time as we had planned and handled the marriage license and everything. The ceremony was perfect. It was just the right amount of seriousness and laughter. We met with him a few months before the wedding and spent about an hour going over the ceremony and answering questions about our relationship so he could get to know us a bit.
