I remember going in for a consultation with Todd with about a month to go before Vien and I's wedding day. Just the fact that he was willing to see us in such short notice was already a good sign that this guy was alright. He first he greeted us with a warm welcome into his office and sat down with us right away. As we filled out our information in the waiting room, his receptionist was more than happy to help us out with any questions that we needed. He gladly asked us about our story of how we met, how long we've been dating, where we worked at and even asked about our family members. After he had heard about our love story, and our background, he gladly told us he'd be honored to do our ceremony! As we started to get down to business, Todd went over each aspect of the ceremony step by step and asked if we had any questions as we went along. The way he had presented the ceremony services was well thought out and even brought a tear to my wife's eye, as he was giving us a sample of how the ceremony would play out. Todd married my husband and I a few weeks ago. We had planned to have a friend marry us and as the wedding date quickly approached our friend got cold feet. Trying not to panic I pulled out the "preferred vendors" list supplied to us by our venue and there were a few officiants on it. I looked up Todd and emailed him. Our wedding location had to be moved last minute due to the Thomas fire. Todd was referred to us by the original pastor we were going to use. We contacted him with only 7 days till our date and jumped on a call with him to discuss details. He was very organized and walked us through how the whole ceremony would look. We only had about a 30 minute consultation with him and on the day of the wedding he spoke as if he had known us so much longer than that. He arrived 30 minutes prior to the ceremony and met with both my husband and I separately. The whole ceremony was flawless and so comfortable. After he took care of getting witnesses to sign the marriage license and completing the paperwork so we didn't have to. We met with him a few months before the wedding and spent about an hour going over the ceremony and answering questions about our relationship so he could get to know us a bit. We were looking for a religious officiant, and Todd definitely fit the bill. But I also think he is super flexible and bases his words on what you want for your wedding, which we loved.
