Food Menu is smaller, but the selection of cakes, pies and pastries is outstanding. Some of the best I have ever had anywhere in the world! (I travel and have lived all over the world) The Pavlova (Merengue Cake) is out of this world! All the pies, cakes and pastries are made in house....and you can watch them make them from fresh farm ingredients....no artificial anything. Just like Grandma used to make. Come spend an afternoon, take a walk and stop for light snack, coffee or tea.....and a wonderful desert. There is even a playground for kids right off the back patio. Don't know what happened to this place we've been there many time and never a complaint maybe other…read morethan a limited food menu but today was different, very different. To start all the service staff were teenagers and while some tried real hard they just didn't cut it. The food was also off, first I always ordered 2 soups but today after the rosol came I never ordered the second, it was way too hot to enjoy it was clearly heated in the bowl in a microwave, the mains were tasty as ever but the inconsistency in the salads served with the duck pierogi showed that they just threw some greens and fruit on the plate even the service died off as our stay lengthed the quick order and water from the beginning turned into a 18 minute wait for a slice of cheesecake with the waiter even telling us it will be a bit longer wait, the whole wait staff was busy carrying to a new table 9 soft ice cream cones so everyone suffered for a 45 pln table of kids. Really very disappointed, not to mention that the out side service adjoined to the kids sandbox playground wasn't the noisiest or most distracting it was the loud speaker mass service from a church nearby..It was a sign, we should have left and kept our high and happy opinion of Weranda instead there's a little bit of a bad aftertaste

The juice is freshly squeezed and absolutely refreshing--no shortcuts here. On top of that, the staff is super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. This place is a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
