We couldn't agree more! We had bought our new house and the backyard is about half an acre or more and was overgrown with palms, banana trees, lots of fruit trees and insect loving plants. There were spiky plants growing onto the lanai too. It was a BIG job to cut down the overgrowth and expertly prune all of our trees - at least 15 trees were cut/pruned and entire perimeter landscaping was cut back/ removed. The end result looks so clean, airy and enjoyable to look at. He also was very good about keeping enough trees so we had privacy, and just thinning some out. What I really like about Isaiah is that he is a real professional in his field. He knew each of our plants and how to handle the pruning - not just cutting them down but he knew where to clean them up, depending on the tree he was pruning. He educated us on the banana tree and palm pruning and many of the plants we were unfamiliar with and which ones were more prone to mosquitoes. He made recommendations on replacement plants as well as recommendations to remove some plants altogether. He can also buy new plants and re-landscape for you. We trust his expertise given the amazing outcome of our backyard. The island foliage grows quickly and even after 7 months the yard still looks super tidy. We also think his crew of workers are very professional and hard working. They arrived early each day and worked very hard to clean up our gardens - there were at least 4 haul-outs of compost from the project. I felt very comfortable with them at our house - just really good quality people. If you are trying to find a knowledgable arborist that is results driven and equally pleasant to work with, look no further! He is also super responsive. We called him and that very same day he was ready to do work for us. That is incredible! We will definitely be using him for all our upkeep projects going forward.

I have some orchids attached to the tree and told them to be careful he assured me he would. Well no bucket truck was used, cut right through the roots of my orchids, oh and they damaged a board on my garage roof. Split right in half after a trunk fell on it then they just fixed it back together with some rope. Very disappointing the tree looks butchered in places. Not happy with the job they did at all. Isaiah should show more pride in his company and give his customers what they pay for especially since money is so tight for everyone right now. Sorry I don't like to give bad reviews but I really am not happy. On the good side they did a wonderful job cleaning up all the debris.

I actually paid him above his estimated price on the first couple projects because I thought he did such a quick, conscientious job. Along the way, he sold me on some concrete work by our garage. This is where things started to go south: They removed the temporary irrigation where they were doing cement. They never replaced it. They also broke part of the maintenance strip they had put in while excavating and promised to fix that after. More on that later. One day they dug/excavated for the cement. During this time, they talked to the new neighbor moving in next door, told us if we both poured the cement at the same time, we'd both save money. We agreed. This meant a delay on getting our cement. A day after they dug for the cement, we started having wastewater and sewage spill in our yard. I called him and he played dumb. I had a plumber out who showed me exactly where they had cracked the pipe. I paid to have it fixed. They didn't show up for over two weeks during this time. The grass all died where they had removed the temporary irrigation. He promised to fix it when they were done. Finally, cement pouring day came. They actually did it for the new neighbor before us even though ours was first excavated and they only got that business because of us. Not only did he try to collect payment again-- I had to show canceled checks that I had already paid, there was no cost reduction for waiting and doing it at the same time as the new neighbors, at least not for us. Now it's been more than a month. I texted yesterday to ask when he was coming to remove the wood, the rebar and the weird piece of metal mesh they've left here for 2-3 months during this process. I haven't received a response. He promised it would be done on April 1. I haven't heard from him since he promised that, about a week before April 1. Tyson knows I've been nothing but generous. Who doesn't demand a price reduction when a contractor breaks his sewage pipe, fills his yard with wastewater and stench and then plays dumb about it??!! I actually think Tyson is a nice guy. I think he's gotten so busy chasing the next job that he doesn't take time to finish jobs well. If he can rebut one thing I've said here, I'm happy to listen. I have a paper and text trail to backup everything I've written. He can also just do the right thing and correct what he's promised to do and I'll gladly take down this bad but currently well-deserved review. The pictures show how our yard was left, how the cement infrastructure was left behind and how they splashed cement all over our new house and didn't offer to fix. It also shows where they screwed up the grass and the maintenance strip.
