Scott Kato and his team are infinitely superior to all the rest. My experience with Scott and the kato Group could not have been better. His knowledge and expertise in the real estate industry is evident when you work with him. Our house was listed precisely for the current market standards and we were in escrow within a week of signing up with the Kato Group. One week! Scott and his team were very responsive to any concerns that arose and communicated frequently with me, advising of the escrow's progress. I would highly recommend Scott Kato to anyone looking to buy or sell a house. Truly a class act. If I could give more stars, I would! read more

Hi I am in Europe with some down time and just noticed your odd response. When dealing in investment property ,It's really not necessary to meet as long as you have the precise ambitions, qualifications and language from your client as you did in this case. I can see other very favorable reviews that imply residential sales...that is commendable, but I would either refine your staffs abilities for investment property or just focus on where your strong suit is in residential. I hope this is helpful to you. best of Luck. read more

I've had the distinct pleasure to be represented by the Kato Group. They're led by Scott who's a true hard working professional that's dedicated to his client's satisfaction. This is a common theme that trickles down to everyone on his team. Everyone is a pleasure to work with especially they're preferred lender Luz. She knows her craft! I don't have the best credit but she helped me create a plan to get approved for the home I wanted. I'm so grateful to the Kato Group for all thier help and expert advice throughout this purchase. I wouldn't have wanted to be represented by anyone else. I'll definitely be referring them to my family and friends! read more

The Kato Group and Jessica Panzica are the best! As first time home buyers my husband and I had no idea what we were about to get ourselves into. The process of buying a home can be overwhelming and scary, but Jessica took the time to explain the different steps and timelines to us so we felt confident in our knowledge of what to expect. We never felt pressured by her on a certain home or area, which was something that many friends and family warned us from their bad experiences with other realtors. Not only did Jess make us comfortable through the home buying process, but she followed up numerous times once we were moved in to see how we were doing (not to mention the adorable and generous housewarming gift she got us). Sarah Bogy was a great transaction coordinator and was always on top of getting us the details we needed and followed up to make sure we got them if she hadn't heard back from us. You can't go wrong with Jess and the Kato Group! read more

I'm so pleased with everyone at Kato Group! I recently purchased my first home in Long Beach with Ray Miramontes as our agent. He was super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly through the whole process. Ray showed us a lot of great homes and kept in touch daily during the whole process. He zeroed in on exactly what we wanted and when we found our dream home he made sure we did everything possible to make our offer the most attractive to the sellers. We were one of eight offers and we got the house! I'm sure I asked a lot of dumb questions but Ray was patient and explained everything. To top everything off, he helped us get our keys early on closing day and met us there with a locksmith to change the locks (he covered the cost) so we felt extra secure our first evening in our new home. read more

The Kato group was amazing! From our first meeting, Jessica went through the whole process with us and told us she was always available for any questions we might have (and we had a lot). Elyssa was so patient taking us from property to property even as we kept changing neighborhoods and adding must have's on her. She never missed a step and was always so sweet. Scott provided documents to sign the minute that they were available and Sarah was super helpful with all the escrot paperwork. We also went to one of there parties and were lucky enough to win a raffle and get tickets to see Drake in concert (so fun and something we probably wouldn't have done on our own) We want to thank the whole team for a wonderful experience for us first time homebuyers! read more

Kato Group Real Estate and Keller Williams Pacific Estates are comprised of compassionate individuals who take pride in going above and beyond the call of duty. I write this 6 STAR Review especially in honor of Jessica Panzica who tirelessly worked to sell my house during a dramatic and turbulent divorce. If the house didn't sell within a short time I would've been forced to walk away with nothing. Dodging huge legal and emotional roadblocks, Jessica's sensitivity, experience, and determination guided the hopeless sale into a dramatic turn of events and we closed today! Jessica made the impossible, possible and she will forever have a halo over her head when I think of her. This realty group is top notch and I couldn't recommend them more! read more

Overall, Kato Group excelled in customer service in helping us purchase our first home. read more

We worked with Samantha and let me tell you what a wonderful agent. She contacted me after I asked a question on a local sight. I felt that our agent we were working with at the time wasn't doing enough to help us find a home. Samantha stepped in and got the ball rolling so fast. She's very knowledgeable, understanding, patient and such a go getter. Working on our schedule it took just a few months to find our home. Honestly, we had been looking since 2015 and were thinking that 2016 was not going to be our year either but she got us there by December. What a way to end the year! Getting everything we wanted on our check list for under asking price...WOW! She really had our minds at peace and was just so wonderful to work with. THANK YOU SO MUCH SAMANTHA. Words can't express how much we appreciate your hard work. read more

I can say with full authority that we are entirely satisfied with the level of effort, service and knowledge Scott and his team were able to provide during the recent sale of our home in Long Beach, CA. Our particular situation required an agent with a keen knowledge of both the area and the current market, and Scott was the perfect match for us and what we were hoping to accomplish with the sale of our home. Scott's efforts resulted in a quick response from agents and interested buyers alike, and it wasn't long (less than 3 weeks!) before we'd gone from listing to escrow proceedings. Thanks to Scott and his staff for helping my family make this series of steps and processes as smooth as possible! read more

We HIGHLY recommend Jessica Panzica and the Kato Group. My husband and I were looking for homes for years, but finally decided to take the plunge and search for our forever home. Jessica was super knowledgeable about the area we were looking at, asked great clarifying questions of what we were looking for in a home, and was always available. When we found the perfect home she worked quickly to get our offer in and it was accepted the same day! When it came to negotiating after the home inspection, Jessica was on point with working to have our concerns addressed. The very best part was that throughout the entire process she listened to all of our concerns, addressed each one, and made us comfortable in trusting her many years of experience. We are so happy to have worked with Jessica and her team at Kato Group. If you want someone who will take of you, listen, and make things stress free, then we recommend Jessica! read more

I recently bought a condo in January 2017 and worked with Jessica and Samantha. They were wonderful! I really enjoyed my experience with them. We had a really tough seller who refused to budge on anything and even asked us for a 30-day extension to deal with some parking situation and Jessica was super patient in dealing with them. Samantha was great at showing me whatever I was interested in. My budget was tight and small, so it's good to know that they'll work with you regardless if you're buying a tiny place a multi-million dollar home. It's great service regardless. I would definitely recommend Jessica and Samantha and I have to a few of my friends already. read more

We just closed two transactions thanks to the help of the Kato Group. The team is best in class and is everything we could ever want in an agent - extremely knowledgeable about market conditions, experts on both sides of the buy/sell process, tough negotiators, incredibly responsive, and genuinely nice people who treated us like family. Jessica Panzica and Sarah Bogy led the charge and were constantly on top of the buyer's agent and vendors, and much to our delight, got them to close escrow 4 days earlier than expected. What an incredible outcome! And we can't forget Scott Kato who convinced us that staging is worth the investment. We were 25 days on market with no offer but after staging received an offer within a week. We should have listened to you from the start! Excellent job team! read more

What can I say.... God has blessed us with GEORGETTE! We found her through our broker. She made it happen! It took us 2 mths from the time we meet her to find our perfect home. I love her work ethics, she goes above and beyond for her clients. Just love her idea about writing a letter about ourselves to give to the seller. Georgette, made the process so easy and smooth when purchasing the home, she always kept me sane. We are so happy that we found the perfect home, thanks to georgette!! I highly recommend her! If I could I would give her 10 stars! read more

I already had an agent that a friend recommended when I found the Kato Group. I went to the meeting just to check it out, thinking I'd remain loyal to the other agent. I was very impressed with how organized the company is, and they already had places to show me. They were extremely attentive, even with my small budget. My other agent never even asked to meet me or find out specifics of what I wanted and I was already in escrow through the Kato Group by the time she contacted me and said I was pre-approved for a loan. It really highlighted how efficient and professional the Kato Group is! read more

The Kato group represented the buyer while I was selling my home. The buyer was a first time home buyer and needed guidance which they did not provide. The we're nonresponive to my realtor and we were left in the dark throughout the process. Escrow closed extremely late with the buyer refusing to remove loan contingencies until the day docs were ready and then refusing to sign loan docs when he was scheduled to do so. Sellers be ware. I wouldn't accept another offer from them. read more

My boyfriend and I have used Kato group to purchase 2 homes in Long Beach over the past few years. I can honestly say the first time around we not very pleased with the home buying process. We had a difficult seller and we were too new to the process to know what we were getting into. When we decided to purchase another property we called Kato group again and expressed our concerns. Scott Kato listened to us and connected us with Jessica Panzica and Samantha Hundertmark. This most recent purchase was so smooth on Kato groups side that it was a great experience. My boyfriend and I both work in the entertainment industry with long and varied hours that change last minute. Jessica and Samantha were both willing to text or call around our schedules. We never felt any pressure to compromise what we wanted during this process. We also received great advice, from types of properties that might fit our lifestyle to if the sellers counter offer was fair or not. Extremely helpful for newer homebuyers! 10 days before we were supposed to close, there was an error discovered on our mortgage application and we thought we were going to lose the house. Jessica worked with the sellers and got them to extend our loan contingency until we could find a solution and we ended up closing almost 2 weeks after we were supposed to. We strongly recommend buying a house with Kato Group, and we will be using them the next time too! read more
