In my opinion... DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! I think they have zero concern for anything except cashing…read moreyour check! I would find anyone else!!! I feel they are possibly the worst firm I have ever dealt with. All of the members I dealt with seemed overwhelmed with possibly taking on too many clients... which made them (in my opinion) simply fall into a reactive state and not proactively attempt to help my case! It felt like they didn't want to create a strategy, had no concern, no movement forward... NOTHING! My primary lawyer actually called my (twice) on the morning of emergency hearings to strategize the hearing. Literally minutes before entering the court... they felt that was the best time to rush you through trying to have a solid understanding of your position. I FELT THEY NEVER PREPARED FOR ONE HEARING!!!! I paid them $40,000 dollars to settle only one aspect of a divorce. They spent a year depleting the retainer... simply reacting to the other lawyer's action. Not once did they set up a meeting to discuss the potential offer or what my goals were. They rarely responded to or addressed my emails or return my calls. Pathetic. They seem to be way more concerned with accumulating hours... possibly in an attempt to make partner? The hours they accumulated didn't seem to help move my case closer to settlement. I feel they are not a divorce firm to use... and I'm sure you could throw a rock into a bunch of lawyers and find someone more concerned and able to help your case. $40,000 later... they dropped me because I was 4 days late on paying a $2,000 invoice. That's right... 4 days! Keep in mind that visitation was already resolved before approaching this firm. They only needed to provide my soon to be Ex with an offer for alimony and child support. After a year of depleting the retainer... they never once put together even one offer to my Ex. Not one! Less than one year of them doing NOTHING and incurring $40,000... for just my side of this divorce. I feel they have ZERO compassion for their clients and have no sympathy for what married couples are going through in the difficult process of Divorce. Not sure why... but, it felt like THEY WOULDN'T RESPOND TO EMAILS OR CALL ME BACK... EVER I'd say to Skip this firm... at all costs! I feel they are simply one of the worst on the planet... Find anyone else! I believe you could represent yourself and get further along then simply giving them hours as they all work towards partnership. I think they are a pathetic bunch of losers... and they do not deserve to represent anyone! Too bad the court system couldn't find a way to weed out the pathetic lawyers (and firms) and put them out of business. I feel these guys give the 1% of good lawyers a bad name... PS - I'm assuming that any of the positive reviews for this firm are made up or provided by a family member of the firm's employees. PPS - Today I appeared in court to hear their motion to be removed from the case... and my lawyer actually pulled me into the hallway, referenced this review, and threatened to take me to court for defamation of character if I didn't remove. LOL! Your bullying tactics won't work on me!

We followed through but I wish I'd just hired Theresa from the outset- feel free to learn from my experience. She and Trinity succeeded in several key areas where many others did not: communication, explanation , flexibility, billing. Theresa has a paralegal and an assistant and no email or call ever went unanswered. Most responses were same day or within 24 hours. Every time I needed something explained and reexplained they ALWAYS did so with patience and professionalism and would write it down for me. Theresa and Tribity were willing to work with our mediator but still complete the other portions of the divorce, which many attorneys won't do. Trinity has a monthly billing review which is automatically sent and you always see the hourly billing and rates and they take multiple forms of payment. Very transparent. So professional. Believe me, many attorneys and mediators aren't so organized. In my divorce there were many bumps in the road and problems and it drew out for a long time. Theresa and her whole team were very humane to me and were sometimes the only bright spot in the process- they were people to rely on and I hope if you're in the same boat as me an my kids were that you find the same respite in Theresa Kulat and Trinity.

At one point, by examining the HOA minutes, she even caught a $3,000 charge that I was going to get hit with next year and worked a degree of compensation into the contract. She never skimps on details or tries to rush the process, which is why she will find small details like this that other attorneys will gloss over. The worst part about buying a home is feeling like everyone is trying to rush through and take their cut. Between my inspector, lender, agent, and attorney, Sima was the most supportive and effective member of my team at making sure I got a good deal. Even when I was exhausted by the process and ready to throw in the towel she continued to negotiate with the other side. Supportive, knowledgeable, and thorough. My closing in June 2007 went relatively smoothly. A 5-star experience, and I recommended her to everyone I knew who was buying in Chicago. However 18 months after my closing I needed a copy of my title commitment to settle a situation with my association. I made an initial request in early December 2008, and she assured me she would get me what I needed within days. It's now 2 full months later and she stopped responding to emails and has completely blown me off. For someone who prides herself on professionalism, this was a total garbage move that has left me and my association hanging. I wasn't expecting something for nothing, but nothing is certainly what I got. For the horrendous service these past 2 months, I've knocked her down to a single star. It's a shame, because I respected her so much and now, I am left baffled by her behavior.

WARNING: Deceptive Billing, Gross Negligence, and Misconduct…read more I have filed a formal grievance against this attorney with the Georgia State Bar. Her predatory behavior and complete lack of ethics during a severe medical crisis have left me financially devastated. 1. Bait-and-Switch "Flat Fee" Deception She advertised herself as a Flat Fee attorney. At the start, she explicitly told me, "The beauty of a flat fee is that even if we go to court, it won't cost more than $20,000." However, after I was forced to fire her, her accounting statement revealed she secretly billed me at $450/hour. I paid $20,000 before we even reached mediation, while my ex-spouse's attorney fees totaled only $7,000. Because I was on unpaid medical leave, in extreme pain, and spending hours doing her paperwork with limited hand mobility, I didn't realize the extent of the financial exploitation until it was too late. 2. Extreme Negligence and Court No-Show 3.5 Hours Late: She completely missed the start of my Temporary Protective Order (TPO) hearing because she overslept. Case Compromised: Her absence infuriated the judge and deeply compromised my case!! Zero Accountability: Her negligence added an extra $3,500 to my costs. She refused to issue a refund and actually blamed me for her being late. 3. Exploitation of a Critically Ill Client Throughout this ordeal, I was only 12 weeks post-op from life-saving surgery. I had limited use of my hands and was literally relearning how to speak due to a new titanium neck implant. Instead of showing advocate-level care, she was beyond rude and took total advantage of my physical vulnerability. Current Status I had to fire her and hire a new lawyer. I am not even halfway through my original legal process, and my new counsel has already recommended I hire a separate attorney just to recoup the thousands of dollars stolen from me. Do not trust her advertising or her word. Stay far away.
