I used Kathy for my wedding ceremony flowers. I purchased the bouquet flowers and boutonniere/corsage flowers myself and brought them to Kathy to arrange. I live about 20 minutes from Kathy's shop. I dropped the flowers off, and told her exactly what I wanted done. I had to go back FIVE times to tell her the same thing I told her to do when I dropped them off. She would tell me she understood and that they would be done next time I stopped by. Each time I would go back to pick up the flowers, she had not fixed them. She actually never fixed the bridesmaid bouquets, I had to have another florist fix them. I returned my bouquet to her after I had paid and told her she still did not do as I asked. I also told her that I wanted her to make arrangements for the church. Two to go in the narthex, and two to go around the archway. I told her I wanted white hydrangeas with purple roses, and no greenery. When I went to pick up the ceremony arrangements, she had not taken off any of the greenery (actually added some in) and there were purple hydrangeas in all arrangements. She made the two I asked for the archway, but only one for the narthex. She also told me that when people came into her shop, they told her they were beautiful, however, she did not do as I asked. I asked her to fix them, and told her again what I wanted. When I picked them up again, she told me that the same customers told her that the revised versions were ugly. She claims that she gave me a great deal, however after I started using Kathy, I went to a Harris Teeter in Charlotte and they quoted me hundreds less! This was a horrible wedding experience and I hope this review helps other bride's in the area, because no bride needs to go through this! read more
