They actually sent a teacher who teaches the same grade level to tutor my son. The tutor was very familiar with my son's work and came very prepared. My son was very upset about getting a tutor, but after one visit he was all smiles and looked forward to his weekly visits. The tutor always made it fun...it didn't feel like dreaded work to my son. We just stopped services as my son got all As and Bs on his report card and his teacher is now offering a daily homework club where he can get extra help. The cancellation process was easy. That is another reason I recommend this company, you don't have to commit to any long term agreements...it is month-to-month. I only wish the service was a little more affordable so more families can get the help they need.

For perspective, my daughter…read morestarted over the summer between 7th and 8th grade because I knew she had a few gaps in her learning and needed to prevent summer learning loss. She is on the advanced track and will be taking Adv Math 1 this upcoming 8th grade year. I was worried they wouldn't be able to help at that level of Math, but low and behold they do support upper level Math. My child has said she loves that they don't have homework, that she can go two days a week for one hour and feel that she is really getting what she was struggling with before. The tutors there know what they are doing and provide support, advice, tricks, and direction the entire way through, as needed or if requested. After two months she feels she is ready for Adv Alg, but wants to keep going into the school year. She hopes it continues to help as much as she believes, and that they can help with homework if she struggles if she brings it in. She has more confidence and gets excited when she closes one of the gaps they identified. Some take longer than others, but she doesn't mind. She actually says it's FUN!! The director there Gabe is phenomenal. And we have high hopes for the incoming Director Alex as well. Highly recommend!!
