The doctor let me know that he did damage the nerve with the needle but that it should heal and to take nervive to help with the healing process and that it should heal overtime. I got the wisdom teeth taken out in March. Its now june I am still experiencing numbness in the same area and it has not changed or improved and I have just received an email from their legal team asking me to remove my previous Yelp review because they believe it is a "false statement." I feel bullied and unappreciated and I'm deeply concerned with their intentions and their well-being for their customers. They haven't reached out to offer any compensation or even an apology or any other options for getting the sensation back to my face, the last thing i was told was to give it time. They just want me to stay quiet and keep it hidden that they did damage but I wanna let you know the risks. This is not a place I will ever trust again.

They prefer to fill rather than watch and wait to see if and little problem will actually form into a cavity. The dr felt very judgmental and only spent about 30 seconds looking in my mouth. And they were charging about $371 for a 2 surface or $453 for a 3 surface filling which is about 1.5x more then where i ended up going to get my fillings done

When I first became a patient, my periodontal pocket depths were consistently 1-3 mm. I followed all home-care instructions and attended regular cleanings every six months as recommended. Over approximately two years, my documented probing depths progressively worsened, and I now have multiple 4-5 mm readings and one 6 mm site, despite having no bleeding gums, and no prior diagnosis of active periodontal disease. During one of my later cleanings, a hygienist commented that I had a "high tolerance for pain," followed by what I experienced as overly aggressive scaling. After reviewing my records and asking for a clinical explanation of how my pocket depths changed so significantly under routine care, I sent Dr. Tanaka a polite, professional email requesting clarification. Rather than receiving an explanation addressing the clinical findings, I was sent a certified letter terminating care and refunding my membership fee, without answering my questions. I also had a visit where Dr. Tanaka was out of town and I was seen by his son. Without taking new X-rays, I was told I needed a crown on tooth #14, even though that tooth had received a crown approximately a year and a half earlier and Dr. Tanaka himself had previously commented on how well that crown was done. Additionally, I was told by the office manager that the practice does not prefer patients who "only come in for cleanings." Shortly thereafter, my cleaning frequency was increased from every six months to every four months. I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision. My concern is not about being dismissed as a patient, but about the lack of transparency and explanation regarding documented changes in my periodontal measurements.

I found a new dentist and asked them to request the x-rays that were taken from this office. OMG! Not only was this difficult, this office sent the x-rays to ME and NOT to the new office! I called them to get the x-ray email UNENCRYPTED and spoke to the RUDEST most DISRESPECTFUL person who called herself the Office Manager! I was in shock that someone like her could still be working there with such a rotten attitude! This woman was accusing me of all kinds of bad behavior - supposedly while I was in that office. She seemed she was making it up as she went along because she hates her job, or people, or maybe both! That such unacceptable behavior is allowed to continue in an office that deals closely with the public is outrageous! I will NEVER step foot in that office again and will tell everyone I can to avoid them like the plague! How they stay in business with such employees and attitudes is beyond my understanding. Save yourself from such a horrible experience and take your business elsewhere!
