She pours lots of time into the search and really cares about finding us a good place to be. With the sales, her experience really paid off. We were able to get the best of the offers. A big escalation clause on a weak offer doesn't do you much good if the deal doesn't close.

Mina is a terrible listing agent. We told her we had an offer in the works on a Friday and she…read moresaid she would bring all offers to the seller on the following Thursday. We told her we would use that time to pre-inspect so we could waive the inspection contingency and come in with a strong offer well over asking, and she assured us as long as the offer came in by Thursday, the seller would get a chance to review it. On Tuesday, we contacted her in the morning to validate that we could get in to do the inspection and she said it was no problem, but she lied to us and had already sent a low-ball offer to the sellers without letting them know we were planning on coming in 100k over asking. The sellers accepted the low offer right as we were in the middle of the inspection that she okayed that day. The sellers lost out on 10s of thousands in escalation dollars. We told Mina several times over the weekend and throughout the the day what we were doing, when our offer would arrive, and how strong it would be, but she hid that information from the sellers. We can only suspect that she was colluding with a buyer to keep the price low. As a result, we are out the inspection money and she lied to and hurt her sellers. Do NOT trust this woman with your home!

At first, this was kind of troubling since I was renting at the time and the recession had just started. This was October of 08. My parents were pushing me to go for it, even though I felt renting was the better idea. Decided to humor my parents and go with Ginny to visit several houses in Bellevue. Having lived in Bellevue for a while, I had a good idea of what to look for and she tailored the search to my family's needs which was great. As luck would have it, I found the house that we ended up buying on the first trip which is amazing. Ginny made the process of buying simple. This is no feat since she had to coordinate everything with my parents who live in Hawaii. All the pieces seemed to amazingly come together in a matter of weeks. There was a few times when I needed to be in person to sign a couple things, but thankfully this was not very often during the process. I was very busy with work and school at the time. I would definitely recommend Ginny as a real estate agent. She was very professional and made the process of purchasing a home as painless as possible.

She came through many times for us and represented us well as we are out of state buyers. We wouldn't be in our first dream house if it wasn't for her and her tenacity as she never stopped trying for us. She is our first recommendation to any friend or family looking for property and when we go to sell we will call on her again. We honestly cannot say enough positive things about Lauren as she went to bat for us many times.

I recently purchased a 1.66M home in West Bellevue. Lauren was my buyer agent. She is professional…read moreand persuasive. But she lacks one important skill - taking buyer's interest more than hers. I already moved in to the house for two weeks and I have been thinking about this for months and discussed with families and friends. It's definitely not buyer's remorse. Here are some of my unhappy experience. My house locates in the worst location in our neighborhood. It's in the entrance and surrounded by Bellevue Way (backyard) and a major road in the neighborhood (front yard). You can hear noises in EVERY room 24/7 literally. It's especially clear at night. There are two bedrooms with big windows we can't even spend the night in it. There is a hidden but huge power station 0.2 miles away from the house, which gives the house huge EMF. Lauren told us that the power lines are underground in front of our house and apparently she was wrong. And they will build a train on Bellevue way soon. That will be very close to our backyard. After placed the offer, I discover this on the Internet and asked her. She said" is it in your backyard? If it's not, you should be fine. I think you are having buyer's remorse." Lauren knew all the facts in advance, but she decided to not to mention a single word. Before signing the contract, I have asked her, what disadvantage do you think the house has? She said, hmm I think the backyard fence can be better done. This is ridiculous. Recently I even saw other agent left review on a website about the road noise of our house and it's also shown in the bank appraisal. Why does my agent want to hide the facts from us? I am not blaming her that the house had these issues. But I think she should at least be honest with us. After we made the offer, the seller sent back to us a counter offer. He wants $17,000 more and $25,500 earnest money being deposit to his bank account. If I failed to get the loan, he won't return me the money. At that point, I wanted to walk away because it was not reasonable. I should have to realize that seller was so afraid to lose me and won't be able to find another buyer. That's why he wants to get the deposit in his side. Now here comes Lauren's great negotiation skill. What she did is first talk me to pay extra $17,000, after I agreed she said oh there is another condition I forget to mention...... I really felt I was pushed into signing the counter offer with the seller which I didn't really want to.
