Bharat was such a pleasure to work with. He is very easy-going, and clearly a professional in his work. Both he and his assistant took incredible pictures of the ceremony, the reception, and of my husband and I strolling and posing around the grounds of the Glen Magna in Danvers. For our album, we selected the coffee table style (digital style). Bharat produced a beautiful album based on the photos we selected (about 100 out of nearly 800 taken), and everyone we've shown it to can't get over how gorgeous and vibrant the pictures are. We are so happy that we have such beautiful photos to tell the story of our wedding. I can't recommend Bharat enough!

I feel badly leaving a one star review, as Nika seems like a nice person going through a lot…read moredifficult times. However I don't want what happened to us to happen to other people. When we were initially booking Nika for our wedding, we saw one bad review regarding a couple not getting their photos back in a timely manner. When we addressed this with Nika, she brushed it off as a difficult client and that situation was blown out of proportion. Please don't let her tell you that's what this review is. We are extremely kind, understanding, chill people who are easy to work with. Nika wasn't the best at communication the whole time, to the point where we were reaching out to her in the weeks before our wedding and she didn't get back to us until just a few days before the wedding day blaming her lack of communication on 4 weddings she apparently had the weekend before. We understand you get busy, but just letting us know you'll reach out later would have been greatly appreciated and kept us from finding a back up plan thinking she wasn't going to show up at the last minute. She did show up early the day of and stayed the full, scheduled time. She also found a replacement second photographer when her original second photographer became sick at the last minute. According to our contract, we were supposed to get some sneak previews the next business day. We got married on October 25. We didn't hear from her until December 19. Zero communication from her for two months. During that time, we texted, called, and emailed many times. All the messages said how we hoped she was ok and if she could just touch base with us. We didn't care if the photos would be late, we just wanted to know we were going to get them at some point, we just wanted to hear from her. We even got in touch with the second photographer who reached out to her several times with no luck. When we finally did hear from her, she shared our portfolio. We received less than half the photos we were promised and many of the ones we got were duplicates, one color version and one black and white version of the same photo. There are very few reception photos. We did a specific "photo flurry" to make sure we got pictures with all of our guests and explained this to her ahead of time and we don't have all those photos. The photos we did get from the flurry are not good quality and were obviously rushed through. We have a handful of framable photos, but overall it was quite disappointing. I reached out to her thanking her for sending the portfolio and that we were so happy hear she was doing better, but we couldn't help noticing the portfolio was short. We asked her to just send the all the raw photos she had without editing them so we could all just be done with it and we haven't heard from her since. Again, we've reached out several times and finally let her know we'd be filing in small claims court. Still no contact. It is extremely disappointing. We were excited to work with Nika. We really hope she's ok, but we're clearly not the only ones this has happened to and it is not ok for her to be treating people like this. If she isn't in a place in her life that she can be solely responsible for delivering memories for one of the most important days of people's lives, she needs to realize that and move into something else.

Nicole was such a pleasure to work with, from our initial phone conversations to meeting in person to design our wedding album. We were so fortunate to have Nicole and her team photograph our special day. Nicole, Karen, and Phoebe arrived promptly to our hotel and immediately went to work photographing our day. They were all incredibly professional, friendly, and organized. I have never met anyone that was as organized as Nicole. She really spends time planning everything out so that the day runs smoothly. Nicole and her crew also worked very well with our videographer. They complemented each other well. Not only is Nicole invested in quality photographs, but she is invested in getting to know the couple. Nicole called us several times before the wedding to talk about how we met and to share our story. We really appreciated this because not only did it allow Nicole to learn more about us, but she was somehow able to capture the essence of our relationship in her photographs. Nicole pays great attention to detail. She has extraordinary vision. You can tell she has a true talent for this. We joked with Nicole that we are awkward in photos, but Nicole eased our nerves and miraculously overcame our photo-awkwardness! We also want to thank Nicole for her patience with photographing our dogs, Dallas and Bradley, on our wedding day. They even brought a squeaky ball to get the attention of our pups during photoshoots (and even doggy bags for any stops along the way--superb service!). Nicole works with you and goes through a detailed plan on who you would like her to focus on whether it be friends, family, wedding party, etc. She is also open to all your ideas about the types of photographs you would like. When it was time to design our photo album, Nicole invited us to her studio to watch a slideshow of our photos on a projector. This was truly an experience, and it really brought back such wonderful memories. We designed a high-quality photo album and it is truly breathtaking. Nicole, thank you and your crew for such an amazing job on our wedding. We can't thank you enough for all you have done for us. The pictures came out better than we could have ever imagined. Thank you for being so fun to work with and for allowing us to share with you our love story. We highly recommend Nicole Chan Photography.
