We were there as a group of 8, where most of the group ordered the 4 course meal, one chose the 3-course meal and two opted for a la carte. The hamachi probably was my favourite item of the evening; I tasted something different in every bite, it really played on the flavours- kefir, lemongrass, atjar, it was very refreshing. Overall the rest of the meal was good, flavourful and nicely plated. Though, the experience was quite clunky. It was my first time there, but members of our party had been there before and said that their meal never took this long (we were there for 4+hours). They mentioned that the previous times they visited, the restaurant wasn't nearly as busy, so perhaps it was their ability to manage a full seating. Or the fact that our table might have been paced along with other tables that opted for 5+ courses, though I hope not. read more
First Yelp post where my food reviews will not do this justice... this place is another level of amazing. The chef prepares a service that took approximately four hours to complete. For tourists, that may be a challenge. But if you've got the evening to spend with colleagues, it's an incredibly beautiful venue and the food is exceptional. As in, Michelin competitive exceptional. An incredibly thoughtful meal, from the intro of oysters with vinaigrette and minced onions and prosciutto, to the cherry gezpacho, the smoked eel, tuna, and angus beef, we were served course after course of amazing combinations. The raspberry and white chocolate dessert was decadent, and with our espresso we received a few final sweet treats. Add some carefully selected wines and it was an evening well spent. Rather than try to describe the flavors (there were many, and several were new experiences) I will share several photos. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff was incredibly informative and friendly, and the chef came to each table to introduce his selections for the evening. It was an event. A memory. Beautiful, flavorful and relaxing. read more

This spot is an experience! We chose the 5 course meal, and for the next 4 hours we went on a culinary adventure. The Chef came to our table and helped navigate his 5 course selection, even making some adjustments for my personal taste preference. Every single course was beautifully crafted and such a unique and delicious pairing of flavors. Make sure you get there early so you can walk around the castle, which even includes a moat and drawbridge! I would HIGHLY recommend this spot and will definitely go back. Next time we hope to actually stay at the castle. read more
