First Yelp post where my food reviews will not do this justice... this place is another level of amazing. The chef prepares a service that took approximately four hours to complete. For tourists, that may be a challenge. But if you've got the evening to spend with colleagues, it's an incredibly beautiful venue and the food is exceptional. As in, Michelin competitive exceptional.
An incredibly thoughtful meal, from the intro of oysters with vinaigrette and minced onions and prosciutto, to the cherry gezpacho, the smoked eel, tuna, and angus beef, we were served course after course of amazing combinations. The raspberry and white chocolate dessert was decadent, and with our espresso we received a few final sweet treats. Add some carefully selected wines and it was an evening well spent.
Rather than try to describe the flavors (there were many, and several were new experiences) I will share several photos.
The grounds are gorgeous, the staff was incredibly informative and friendly, and the chef came to each table to introduce his selections for the evening.
It was an event. A memory. Beautiful, flavorful and relaxing. read more
