Main course. Veal entrecôte cooked rare. I love meat cooked in the 'cut a slab and threaten it with fire' style, can't abide overlooked meat. The only complaint were the chips and veggies - rubbish. The veal is wonderful. A new waiter appeared (older! good!) and asked if I was happy with the draft beer. I said I wasn't sure. He said I had Heineken and would I prefer a Trappist beer with the veal. I said not sure and after a rather good chat agreed to get one. My! Wonderful with veal! I need to stop writing and eat. The hotel is sort of a maze especially when connecting between the 2 wings. My room was in the main wing with an in-room Jacuzzi. The gym & spa are located in the other wing and I had to take 2 elevators to get there. The gym is extremely small with 1 treadmill and a few weights. The spa is equipped with a steam, sauna and massage rooms. The bar & restaurant in the lobby is quite good. Tried them for dinner on a couple of days. Service is always great. The rooms are spacious and offers a nice view of the little town of Eindhoven. The hotel is walking distance from the Eindhoven train station. Taxis can be ordered from the hotel reception since Uber was not very reliable. We stated here during Glow 2019 and the reception staff were helpful with maps & umbrellas. Overall a good stay and looking forward to visiting again.

To the right after you enter there is a bar type area, I took a picture of that. The dining room area to the left of the entrance was inviting, smelled like good food cooking and the menu has a big selection of vegetarian, fish and meat. Staff was kind and came back frequently to check on us. We chose the carpaccio to start, and allow me to definitely recommend that one, it is very French and excellent flavors. My husband went for the burger and my son for the mussels -- which were also made the French way, with white wine and carrots, celery and onions. Fantastic, next I am going to order that one. I decided to go Morroccan vegan with pearl couscous which was herbed to perfection. And have I mentioned their fries?!!! Really, really good.
