Tigota is a shop focusing on cleaning supplies, health and beauty products. Once you enter you are…read morefaced with a short staircase leading up maybe half a flight. The store is a 'one way' ending at the registers and the aisles are narrow so not necessarily a good shop for bringing the pram.
You first encounter laundry products, then other household cleaning products plus trash bags, cleaning gloves, sponges and the like. Next up is personal hygiene products. Shampoo, soap, deodorant, powder, hair spray, cotton swabs and so on. They also have nylon stockings and a few other non-cleaning items like luffa and hair brushes.
At the back of the store you will come across a metal barrier that opens one way. Once past this barrier you are in the cosmetics area where you will find eye shadow, mascara, foundation, etc. Registers are at the end of this area and back out the door where you entered.
They don't really speak English here but most transactions don't require a huge conversation. Bring your own shopping bag or plan to buy one. They take credit and debit cards and of course cash (Euros).
This location is down the road a bit from where we lived in Milan and where I purchased my cleaning supplies and cosmetics regularly. Prices and product selection are good.
