Located inside Sunita's Threading & Hair Salon, in the same plaza as 7-11 with limited parking…read more I have been to this business twice now and am pretty disappointed with my most recent visit on New Year's Eve. I came here because a lady from my church highly recommended her and told me that she only charges $29 for both gel manicure and a pedi. However, the first time I came here, which was sometime back in August, I just wanted to have my gel manicure removed (done by another person at another nail salon). When I was getting my manicure removed, Lee told me that the price for gel manicure is $20 and a pedicure is $12 (but only an additional $10 if getting a gel manicure). She had originally told me it would cost me $6 to remove my gel manicure but then only charged me $5 instead. Anyways, on my next visit (NYE), I decided to get a French manicure and a pedicure (getting all dolled up for the up coming year). I made an appointment the day before to come in at 11 am. But when I came in, she was already working on 3 different people. I told her that I was here for my 11 am appointment and she said that I will have to wait (but she was laughing and smiling as she was saying it... typical Asian behavior when they do not speak the best English, they are just trying to be light hearted). I wished I had left but really wanted to get my nails done, so I just waited. Then eventually I was asked to sit at a chair around 11:35 am. Lee's husband began to soak my feet in a container of water and proceeded to trim my toe nails. He also did an amazing job of removing the calluses from my feet (probably the best treatment I have ever received to be honest). Anyways, eventually Lee came over to trim my finger nails and eventually put on my gel manicure and the nail polish for my toes. She had told me that the 2 ladies she was working on came late to their appointment and so this is why she had to start late for me. Those ladies came at 10:30 am for a 9 am appointment! That is so unheard of for any business to allow anyone to come so late for an appointment and still service them (my mom said it was probably because she does not have much business, which I have have to agree). I spent more money on my mani and pedi than those 2 ladies combined and think that was incredibly rude and really should have just walked out instead of patiently waited. Anyways, after getting my gel manicure, it chipped 4 days later! This is only my 2nd time getting a gel so I was really surprised because the first time I had gel (at another salon), it lasted about 4 weeks before it chipped. The chipping was most likely due to my nails not curing long enough under the UV light. And days afterwards, it kept chipping and looking pretty horrible. And my pedicure could have done with an additional coat and wished it was more even. This was definitely not worth the $40 I paid, but I guess you truly get what you pay for. Price break down: $20 Gel Manicure $4 French Tip $10 Pedicure $6 Tip (yea I was being quite generous, especially after waiting) -------------- (Total= $40) I do want to mention that Lee was very friendly and so was her husband. So I do feel bad giving a bad rating, but I honestly would never come back here again. By the way, I do want to also mention that I do not feel that this place is very sanitary. The same pumice stone used to sloth my feet was the same one used to do the same to the other customers (gross!!) I did not see the stone cleaned between uses (I don't think you can even clean it good enough between uses of different people either) and also this callous remover machine that was used was not cleaned between uses. Being that this is a small little operation inside of a threading hair salon, I am not surprised that it isn't clean (well at least thinking back, not at the time when I came here to get serviced). I also do want to mention that I am not a fan of her inconsistent pricing. She has a menu board of her prices but does tend to change the pricing based on the people she knows. I am not a fan of that.

Lee and her husband are the perfect team. Their fees are reasonable and work impecable. If you are a return customer they will really go out of their way to give the best customer service & treat you like family.

This is my first time getting microblading done and I had a GREAT experience! I love my results and…read moreI get compliments on my eyebrows everytime. My friends are surprised when I tell them that it is actually microblading. That is how natural looking they are! I have always had uneven brows and Maggie was able to fix them. This is the BEST my brows has ever looked. Honestly!! ---------- Setting an appointment was easy. She worked around my schedule to set up a time that worked for both of us. Before the appointment she told me what to be expecting and answered all of my questions and concerns. On the day of the appointment, I felt completely relaxed under her care. She played soothing music as she took her time to measure and find the perfect shape for my brows. She asked what type of brows I was interested in and she took that into consideration when making the shape of my brows. She had me check them to make sure I was happy with the overall shape and gladly fixed anything I was picky about. Before she got started on the blading part, she asked me what my pain tolerance was and gave me numbing cream. As we waited for the numbing to take effect, Maggie custom made a color to match my brows. After the numbing took place, it felt like minor cat scratches. She was very gentle and checked on me multiple times to see how I was doing. When we were finished, she gave me advice on how to properly care for them. After the first session, it does look thicker and darker at first, but after a few weeks, after my brows have completely healed.. it lightened/thinned out to perfectly match my hairs. I have already recommended Maggie to all my friends and 5 of them already got them done and another 2 already made an appointment. Maggie really cares for her clients and she is very skilled and passionate about what she does!

Maggie made sure I was happy with the shape before doing anything. She made sure to ask me my pain level and would check in to make sure I'm doing ok.
