    Raden Wellness - IV treatment!

    Raden Wellness

My Daughter has suffered from SPS (Stiff Person Syndrome) for years and has undergone debilitating…read moreplasmapheresis treatments approximately every 6 weeks at an area Hospital. These Treatments compromised her immune system for Days afterwards. At times she had to use a wheelchair, couldn't drive and was pretty much confined to her home. Being a single mother became more difficult. But she did her best. The SPS Specialist told her there was no cure and the disease had no remission possibility. She seemed to be getting slowly worse. Then she tried Raden Wellness. The Staff was very professional and encouraging. They designed a specific treatment for her and began administering it to her. I was a skeptic. But she began to show impressive improvement. To cut to the chase.....Eventually she went back to see the Specialist and he said that she was in total remission and there was no sign of the disease in her at all anymore. In short, Raden gave her her Life back and I am a skeptic no more, as the results speak (loudly) for themselves. Our Family is now joyful and Thankful for what Raden Wellness has done for her. THANK YOU!

Absurd costs. $600 just to have the option to book…read more My provider left the practice and I selected a better fit for me and Raden stated I would have to pay ANOTHER $600 upfront for the privilege of booking with a different provider at their practice. (I was mismatched with the wrong subject area to begin with.) Not to mention...horrid note taking and often had to request my visit summaries with detailed doctor notes which were hurried at best. Inconsistent lab quality - bizarre results other doctors even questioned. Unclear on their lab storage and transportation practices. Lab draws- one of the most painful needle insertions of my life and I have highly visible veins! Poorly trained or very distracted nurses here and there. For some lab tests they make the patient do the paperwork! Other functional medicine practices (all seem to lack operational funding) at least manage this aspect of care. And overall, my previous provider missed a lot of key markers. I'm grateful for some initial tests but the root cause could have been identified with the right tests I did with another practice. And their peptides are priced higher for same amount than other places.

Went to DexaFit after scheduling an appointment the prior week. I spoke with Kate over the phone…read moreand she politely answered all the questions I had about the process. When the time came for the appointment, I met Allie at the facility and she was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helped me through the three scheduled tests (DEXA, RMR, VO2). She even coached me while I was on the treadmill for the VO2 to help me get those extra steps in. Great technician, top notch tools and super hygienic process overall. She printed the results immediately after the tests and went through each line item, one by one. Even though the appointment went slightly over the allotted time, she never rushed me or hesitated to answer my questions. All in all, this battery of tests was worth every penny. Not only was the experience seamless, the results now serve as the foundation for my fitness plan going forward. They say your body doesn't come with an instruction manual, but this comes awfully close! You get dozens upon dozens of metrics to help guide and adjust your future workout routines and eating habits. I will absolutely be recommending this to anyone who has fitness goals of their own. I ended up buying the 8-pack of credits to get these tests done in the future (wasn't pressured into doing so either, I did it to bring down the per-test cost).

This place is fantastic and really helped me get the data I wanted to be smarter about my weight…read moreloss and nutrition. I've felt like I've been guessing in the past and now I have science-backed body composition info that told me exactly what I need to do. I did a Dexa scan for body composition and got a good read on how much fat and muscle I have and where it is. I also learned one leg is 1lb stronger than the other which explains some joint pain I'm having. I also did an RMR which was awesome. I know exactly how many calories I burn a day at rest, with daily activity and working out. That's a game changer for me. I also now know my body burns sugar as energy before fat which is helpful since I'm trying to lose fat. This place rocks and I'm going back in 3 months to keep me accountable and see how I'm doing.

Dr. Kirson saved my life!…read more Listen. I've struggled with my weight my entire life. Especially since my hysterectomy at the tender age of 36. I've been on some damn diet since my teens. I've never been blessed with a good metabolism. No matter how much I worked out, it was always a struggle. First it was low fat, high carbs. (Watch any old episode of Frasier and you'll know what I'm talking about) Then it was the damn cabbage diet! Who remembers the cabbage diet? Then it was Atkins. Low Carb, Keto, Paleo, Juice, Intermittent Fasting. OMG can we just stop it already? This shit is getting out of control. And it's screwing with our heads. Then, 50 hit. And all my chickens came home to roost. I woke up overnight with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Years of being healthy plus size caught up with me. Big is beautiful they say, until it's not. And being unhealthy for me is not a beautiful thing. When I got my cholesterol test, my general doctor told me to keep eating Keto. So I did. Told me NOT TO WORRY about my cholesterol because that my good cholesterol was good. How many damn times have we heard that! 1 year on Keto and I wan't losing. And my blood pressure and cholesterol was getting worse. Was I stressed? What was going on? After a crying jag I literally said to a doctor friend of mine "I have no fucking clue what I should be eating! Everyone, including doctors has an opinion about what I should be eating and everything is wrong. It wasn't about willpower. I was sick of it. Sensing my frustration, she sent me to Inbar Kirson. And that's when my life changed. Dr. Kirson IS a believer in the Keto diet but KETO is NOT for everyone, which is the camp I fall into. After extensive blood tests, we came up with a plan of action. My lipids were DANGEROUSLY high. So high I was freaked the hell out. Traditional Keto almost killed me! With some care and love, today I am doing a modified Keto diet that is low in saturated fat, good in healthy fats and no sugar or carbs. And guess what? 45lbs gone. It's taken me almost year to lose that, but slow and steady wins the race. The one thing I love best about Dr. Kirson is the fact she isn't judgmental and takes the time to explain things. And if you have a complicated question, she will find the answer from a trusted resource. When it came time to start my plan, she asked a lot about my daily habits and how I liked to eat and we came up with a plan that works for me. When something is a habit, a modification leads to more success than overnight change. With her help, I took my cholesterol from 320 to 165. In 8 weeks! My blood pressure went from 180/90 to 125/75 in a matter of months and I'm still losing weight. Slow but steady. Obviously it's up to me to do the work, and knowing I was insulin resistant made all the difference in the world. I haven't cheated because it's not a diet for me anymore. It's my way of life. How I must eat if I want to survive. (Ok, I did eat some cherries and I may eat 1 French fry off my hubby's plate) but I don't go out and eat a whole pizza. If you are sick of being sick about knowing what you should be eating, because you're tired of seeing the latest diet trend on Instagram or Pinterest, Dr. Kirson is not only kind and patient, she is a trusted resource in the medical community. If I could see her for everything I would. And I don't say that about many doctors. If you're struggling with menopause weight gain, do yourself a favor. Go see Dr. Kirson. Your skinny jeans are calling. So is your health.

Any practice hiding behind "FDA approved" meds is as much of a sham as a fly-by-night snake oil…read moresalesman. Appetite suppressants can't help for more than two months to get over leptin resistance. Restricted calorie diets need more, and close-minded practitioners won't entertain what works for maintaining muscle mass while depleting adipose stores. I also note no one mentions hormone testing, so it seems reverse T3 isn't even considered- which is a detriment to patients and a sign of "this is how it's always been done" old school narrow-minded medicine. You're better off venturing into the city to try to find someone who actually understands health and balancing the body.
