You never know what you'll find. It depends on what has been donated. It's a great place to find clothes for working outside that you don't mind trashing. It's also a great place to find electronics of old technology. For example, if you need a cassette or VHS player to find out what's on those old tapes that you have hiding in your closet. If you're in a pinch for a piece of furniture they might just have what you need there. Amidst a lot of cheap stuff sometimes you can find a treasure. Most of the employees I have come across here are not engaging, and not always the smartest. However Goodwill makes a practice of hiring those with disabilities, so I take that into account. My family and I are decluttering. Things which we have outgrown or no longer need and yet still have a lot of life and can be of value to someone else. we have chosen to donate to Goodwill rather than attempt a yard sale.
