Joe, Marguerite, and Dani are all amazing and clearly take great pride in their work. They truly want to help repair your body. My massage from Joe was super restorative. He knew how far to push my body but never went to the point where I felt I was in pain. Marguerite has a more gentle approach, and gave me the most relaxing head massage I've ever had. Dani has a great, relaxing technique that really loosens my knots. My prenatal massages with her have been a lifesaver as my body changed (in often painful ways) during pregnancy. The rates are very reasonable and the type of massage work they do makes a real difference to your body. I've always felt better after a session here. I'm praying they never leave Highland Park!

I've visited this salon a few times, but none of the sessions left me fully satisfied. Despite…read morehaving different massage therapists, the overall feeling was the same -- a lack of professional depth and attentiveness to the client's needs. Key takeaways: * Inconsistent technique -- sometimes too soft, other times abrupt pressure on sore areas * Lack of energy and genuine care during the session * Odd personal remarks from the therapist that made me uncomfortable For a place with this pricing, I expected a higher level of service. Maybe others have had better luck -- my sister, for one, absolutely loves this place -- but my experience hasn't convinced me to return just yet. Still, I hope to stop by again next time I'm in town and see some improvements.

I think the payment process was the most confusing. The receptionist didn't let me know when I scheduled with her, or when I checked in, that their credit card machine doesn't accept tips, they only accept cash or check for tips. This was confusing and I was a little peeved about it.

My massage therapist was great, asking me about any areas that needed extra attention and checking in during the session to make sure the pressure was right. Obviously, since the center is run by Sister Rosalind, there are some religious symbols and artwork in the lobby. The treatment rooms are sparse, with only a framed print and one simple cross. It could be a turn off for some, but others may find the ever-present connection between the body and the spirit an added benefit. One note: They are now located on Cleveland Avenue (right by Cecil's deli).

The booking is super easy as a member using the mobile app and I always get a curtesy call a few days prior. There is a cancellation fee of 50% should you not cancel within 24-hours. The front desk staff is peppy and will guide you into the waiting area where you will be offered a drink and a hot towel if you feel inclined. Bonus - you do NOT have to be a member to book a session. When booking, non members get access to the entire club including child care classes, machines, weights, sauna, etc. Rating this a 4 simply because I feel like the waiting space could use a facelift such as some zen music, candles, or even a small water fall to add some serenity to the space.
