Their kebobs come on warm, flaky bread with very flavorful meat, fresh veggies and delicious garlic sauce. It beat any other kebob we tried. Accidentally wandering into a sub-par place that lives off foot traffic in touristy areas. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised that Prime Kebap was not only easy to order from but also delicious despite being close to a busy street near the theater. My partner and I each got a kebap with fries and a beer. The kebaps were generously portioned and super tasty. One of the most affordable meals in Berlin and we were happily full. The previous night we'd had a pretty greasy and disappointing experience at a kebap place and assumed they all were just "street food" without much thought put into it, but Prime Kebap proves you can be inexpensive but ALSO have great food! We grabbed an extra beer to go and bookmarked this place for future Berlin trips when we visit the theater!

Even though I have a horrible American accent on my German the people working there did not speak to me in English which I appreciated.

Our tour guide brought us here, saying that this is one of the best currywurst places in the area…read more If this is considered the "best", then either I really don't like currywurst, or his standards are much different than mine. I've had friends rave about currywurst, and my entire family was pretty underwhelmed by the entire experience. It was basically a hot dog with some sauce and curry powder sprinkled on it. At least they weren't cheap on the fries, and in combination with the salad, it's a pretty substantial meal for the price you are paying. Service was extremely slow; perhaps because they were inundated with our entire tour group ordering at once (a group of about 15-20 people). Free wifi available, and the souvenir store next door is pretty good.

While the food was really cheap, it didn't taste all that amazing, and was kind of boring. The currywurst really just tasted like a hot dog, with tonkatsu/worchestire sauce on it and some curry powder. Probably the wrong choice for me at the time, but I was hungry and was tired of looking around.

The menu is very simple: chicken doner kebab, vegetarian doner kebab, or dürüm kebab. The main…read moredifference between a doner kebab and a dürüm kebab is the type of bread used to hold the meat. A doner kebab is served in a pocketed bread, while a dürüm kebab is served with a thin wrap rolled around the same ingredients. I ordered the chicken doner kebab. They accept credit cards. The chicken was somewhat salty (1 star off), but the veggies and sauces were tasty. The bread was buttered and toasted, so it had a nice crunch. The doner kebab was big and messy to eat. I wished they offered a larger paper wrapper. There was no seating, so you have to eat it while walking on the street like a savage or pick one of the dirty street benches out front to camp out at. Dürüm is neater and more portable, so you might consider that option if you're self-conscious. Tip: Grab several paper towels from the counter with your kebab *before* you get sauce and grease all over your face.

The sausage is flavorful on its own, and drowning it in ketchup does not make it better (1 star off) and the sprinkles of curry powder gets drowned in the ketchup making it obsolete too (1 star off). Vegan currywurst is an option, but I did not like it. There are a few high-top tables with standing room only, and customers are cordial in sharing the small space. They accept credit cards. I find the tacky murals featuring Cold War era politicians more entertaining than the currywurst.
