I went to a surgeon who predicted 6-9 months post surgery recovery. And told me PRP treatments could not work. "You can waste your money in them but you'll be back for surgery anyway." I canceled surgery after meeting with Dr Patrick. I had a series of four sets of shots of PRP (platelet rich plasma) into the shoulder area over next four-five months. After second set began to work with a PT, Dr Caleb Wright, who specializes in PT support for PRP treatments. This was the winning combo. My shoulder is 95% recovered after five months (four sets of shots) and now I will continue to do strength training exercises and get it to 100%. But then they got greedy, and started charging us what they call "Membership" fees. Is this something new for a medical Private Practice? Because I've never heard of such a thing, and it seems vulgar. We decided that we weren't going to pay these membership fees, and moved to a new clinic, but I just realized that they have been charging me membership fees in the amount of $13.75 (thru "Square") periodically, which I had assumed to be copays, and I had no notification of these charges. That feels pretty sneaky, and is ultimately what initiated this review, as I figured I should speak up...and I don't write many negative reviews. They came up with a whole justification for these new fees,, commenting on their top notch medical care and the advantages of having a smaller pp clinic, but their office is an attic floor above a restaurant converted from an old house with a steep staircase, and there's no elevator, so it's a pain in the ass or impossible to get up there for many disabled.

When Dr. Shay remembers to follow up with previous providers and complete paperwork, he is a very friendly and helpful doctor, but he's very inconsistent with those practical parts of medicine. I ultimately changed providers due to lack of follow-up and their new implementation of a required subscription for primary care patients.

I explained my health problems, Dr Davis listen, asked questions as he needed, directed his staff to perform specific additional testing and examination as directed. Reviewed the results and returned with directions regarding my specific medication requirements as well as blood testing to follow. I was possibly seen 10 min. after my appointment time, but the care I received was excellent and I fully expect it will continue at this high level in the future.
