I have passed by many times as I live in the area, and I was very eager to try it out. Today I went with a friend to have breakfast there, and, tbh, I am so disappointed that I can assure I am not coming back.
The staff is very nice, the decoration inside it's average-cool and the dishes have a very good presentation. But that's it. I ordered a Milchkaffee with Soya (a soya latte) and a croissant. The coffee was 3 € with an extra charge of 0.50 € for the soya milk. I consider this robbery, I worked as a barista myself and I can assure there's no need whatsoever to charge such a pricey amount for soya milk. That "extra" is what they actually pay for 1 L of soya milk. I think is extremely rude with people that, like me, cannot have a normal dairy coffee.
Then I paid 2.50 € for a croissant, that came as it was. So the total for a normal croissant and a soya milk coffee was 6 €. If you are willing to pay that, go to the "Dritter Raum", it's not even 10 min far from there and you can actually have for 4.50 € 2 croissants with fruit and two spreads to choose (nutella, jam, etc).
As I said, I AM NOT COMING BACK. There are many others coffee shops in the area much nicer and much cheaper. read more
