This was a nice Italian place! I loved the cappuccino, and the pasta was really great as well. Good lunch place if you are traveling from Neuschwanstein to Linderhof and need to stop for lunch. The only thing that threw me off a little was the decor. The walls were lime green, which was balanced by the dark wood of the tables but there were a few red accents as well that contrasted the green. This was of course an ode to the Italian flag, and didn't interfere with the meal, so I suppose I shouldn't complain. They also have outdoor seating, so if you don't like the photos you can sit outside (which is probably what I should have done). You can tell from the pictures that the place was nearly empty (at 14:00 on a Saturday!) and so if you are tired of crowds then this is the place for you. The menu is mostly composed of pizza and pasta, but there is an anti-pasta section as well if you really don't want either of those things. This was a great restaurant and I recommend it to all who want a crowd-free break on their journey through Ludwig II's castles! read more
