Some items still have store tags attached. I have purchased four hand made baby quilts over the years. (donated by a church) I enjoy making donations and then finding something I can't live without! The people have been working there for years and are so very nice. Generally there is a "free" cart outside which may have toys, books or other interesting items. This is one of my favorite thrift stores. It is not fancy, but small and comfortable while looking to update items. Located just 10 minutes down the road from Six Flags Amusement Park on the old Route 66. A pleasant ride with country scenery on both sides. There is a place called Red Cedar Inn (owned by the City of Pacific) to welcome visitors to the area. Just past a Silica plant the area opens up to businesses on both sides of the highway. There are three places out there that feature antiques, collectibles and in one instance a nice clothing boutique. The new place is Route 66 Goodies on the left if driving westbound. This place is packed with third party curated merchandise. Most are open booths where customers can handle items, with a wall of locked cases on one side. The cases are necessary in one case to preserve the condition of the collectibles inside (like new toys from the 1990s-early 1990s, comics and trading cards). There is also nice glassware and a few pieces of antique and vintage furniture. I recommend checking it out someday and have lunch at one of the many restaurants that are spouting up here and there.

Bobs , discount furniture, carol house - you name it. Over the weekend we were in Rosebud Missouri antique hunting and grabbing some lunch (Lobe GrainMill ! Delicious). My wife interrupted my frosty beer to show me a picture of a couch. I was confused as this was a new couch. "It's perfect and look at the price! ". After buying it we brought back a trailer to load. Not only did the owner Joe help us load it, he secured it with some wood and helped strap it down. Then he helped wrap it in plastic I brought - that was not good enough. He came back out with plastic warp and sealed it up from the elements. He truly went above and beyond. At one point his daughters needed peanut butter - after that crises (lol) he continued to secure , wrap and study the load until satisfied that we could make it home through wind , hail and storm. Well - it poured on us on the way. There was not a spot or moisture on the couch when we unwrapped it. Perfect ! Joe was all about being nice, helping others and making an honest living while supporting a wonderful family. He and his wife run a great store and are a treasure to be found. We will antique there again and I hope they find that peanut butter !! Take a second and drop in. You won't be disappointed
