Juan is an efficient, reliable, straight-shooter who won't waste your time or money. His extensive knowledge of the housing market, remodeling costs, and the city of Bloomington were extremely helpful in our move here from the West Coast. He was patient, kind, and funny and went above and beyond to listen, teach, explain, and fight for us. Also, Juan and his hats? He's got the drip! We are thrilled with how easy the entire process was; we are ecstatic about the home and neighborhood we now live in; and we highly recommend Juan Carlos!

So excited about the new home. Many many thanks to Juan and his crew for the assist.

He listened to us, respected our edge and worked tirelessly to show us homes - once in a sprint house hunting weekend, then from long distance, and once we moved to Bloomington and continued our search. 2. He never pushed his opinions on us. Always gave us space to tour and discuss the homes on our own; only providing his insight when we asked or when he saw any glaring red flags. 3. He's super knowledgable about each neighborhood in Bloomington, which really helped make our search even more efficient. He's down to earth. We never felt like we were being sold to. It was like a friend was showing us each listing. 4. He smart. Before we made an offer on our home, he pulled stats on comparable properties in the area and crunched the numbers. He had our best interest at heart and wanted to make sure we went in with a wise offer. 5. He was super responsive. We are first time home buyers and he took the time to answer all of our questions quickly and efficiently. He must hear the same ones over and over again, but he never hesitated to give us detailed explanations. TLDR: If you're about to list your home, or embark on a house hunt in Bloomington. Zak is your guy. Don't waste your time with anyone else.

(If you google Bloomington rentals and her name, you will find other awful review about her and how she mistreated her tenants). First of all, there were sprickets all over our house when spring came, and when I told her about it, she said that it was because our house was dirty. After I explained that we have a very clean house, she was extremely rude. She said that if we got everything off our floor, she would 'douse' the house in poison. She pushed for me not to have the house treated for the dozens of sprickets present. She would also schedule showings and never show up. So, people would come to our house and wait for almost an hour sometimes. She also would have showings without telling us that she was coming or even knocking on our door (which is illegal). When I confronted her about walking into our house without knocking or telling us that she was coming, she claimed that she told my roommate's mother. However, this was impossible considering the fact that they have never spoken, and my roommate's mother could not speak English. Also, even if this was true (which it isn't.. It was just one of her many lies she told to cover up how irresponsible she was), she should have told a tenant, instead of someone who wasn't living in the house. She would just walk into our house with complete strangers without our knowledge. We asked her if we could have a dog, and she said that our property was not allowed to have any pets. However, when she was showing to the house to potential tenants, she said that dogs were allowed. Do not rent from her.

We were first time home buyers, knowing very little about the whole process, we only knew what we wanted. Andrea got right on finding us houses to look at that actually met our wants and needs.. she didn't just spam us every listing. But what really made the difference was she took the time, and it took A LOT, to answer every question, sometimes she answered the question several times for us but she never got frustrated or hurried us in anyway. She always gave us her honest opinion, which we valued. When it came time to negotiate, she was able to get us everything we needed to make the deal happen. Going into the process oh, we had no idea how emotional and drawn out it would be, but she truly held our hand through the whole thing and calmed our nerves. When we would hit bumbs my husband would become discouraged and want to give up, afraid there was no way to make our dreams a reality and without Andrea they wouldn't have been, she was there with information and assistance... if she didn't have the answer she would find someone that did! She was truly amazing!

Andrea is the realtor consummate in that she showed us homes that exactly fit our criteria and those that stretched our geographic and budget boundaries. We thought that we had set our initial budget at a point where we could find the right home, but the present housing market in Bloomington and surrounding areas didn't yield any acceptable homes in that area. When we upped our budget by a mere 15%, many nicer homes came within the acceptable criteria. Andrea was a patient individual while working with us and our likes/dislikes in homes. During our search, we were staying in a northern Indianapolis community and had to travel whenever she found homes to show us. She was considerate to schedule home viewings so as to accommodate our commute. She is full of energy and worked hard to find us the right place. While viewing homes, she also introduced us to the Bloomington community and guided us through a new town for us. We looked at 30 homes before we found the one which we eventually purchased. Inasmuch as we used Andrea as a buyer's agent, she always focused on what we wanted as well as cautioned us on the limits of the homes she showed us. She is a delight to work with and we would recommend her to anyone seeking a home in Monroe and surrounding counties. Should the occasion arise we would not hesitate to use Andrea again.

They also deal with auction houses. I have only worked with Beth, but I'm sure her dad is great too since he's who trained her! Anyway, I've known Beth for a few years now. I have a very close friend who when she was searching for homes had a real estate agent who wasn't Beth. Her realtor was not super helpful. In fact, my friend ended up finding the house she bought herself! But the seller's agent was Beth. My friend liked Beth so much that she started recommending her to friends instead of her own agent! So one of our mutual friends worked with Beth to find her home, which she moved into just before having her first child. Such a stressful home search process. Beth made everything smooth and they found the perfect house in the perfect location for their budget. Then me and my husband decide we want to find a home! We connect with her, describe all kinds of ridiculous things that she probably had no way of being able to search for (the lighting in the home should be like THIS, etc). She never scoffed at us and spent a lot of time trying to understand our taste and find us the right home. But then I found out I was pregnant! I didn't want to deal with a new home and a new baby at the same time, so we said goodbye in a polite way to Beth. But Beth is such a professional! She kept the door open even though we had closed it. Congratulated us, wished us well, and told us she'd be happy to work with us whenever we were ready to start our search again. A couple years later that's exactly what we did! The housing market had become absolutely insane in Bloomington. If you didn't buy a house the moment you toured it, or sometimes even before then, the house would be snapped up. Many houses were gone the same day they were listed! We were feeling so frustrated with the process. But because she has her ear to the ground on houses, she was able to find a perfect home for us before it was even listed, and we made an offer that day. We were so lucky!!!! Since that time I've referred many friends to her, and everyone comes back absolutely raving about how kind she is, how great she is at understanding exactly what it is they're looking for in terms of style, amount of work needed to put into the home, location and price range. She makes it happen! I can't recommend her highly enough. She's also won realtor of the year at least once, probably lots of times if I had to guess. All I can say is, if you're looking for a Bloomington home you better connect with her fast before she's completely booked! She will make your home dreams come true.
