I love going to a place that does things I hate having done! (If that makes any sense). Dr. Escott is incredible. She's no nonsense, down to earth, dedicated and educated! She has everything available for any possible scenario or issue you may have. I have recurring back/neck problems that go away, then come back and she is able to fit me in on short notice most times. She also isn't trying to sell me some six month long weekly therapy session. That's what I love the most. She's got the cure for what's ailing you. read more

Dr Escott was able to adjust me, so on a service level, that's all great. However, her customer service is appalling. The wait is very long. They don't know how to operate their billing, you might receive a bill three years later, who knows? She made fun of my daughter's name on two separate occasions and that was the final straw for me. The first time I thought, well maybe that's not how she meant it. The second time she made it clear that's how she meant it. I've been much happier with Dr Edwards and wouldn't go back to Escott if she were the last chiropractor in town. read more

After some research, this practice seemed like a smart choice to help my back. Cost is a big factor in my decision making- so, I called to see if they offered a student or new patient discount (no) and what the cost would be for a new patient out the door. I was told it would be be $38-42 dollars, a bit more than some other offices I have visited but I decided to budget the appointment into my monthly expenses. Final total was 70 dollars...which shocked me and left me wondering how the front desk employee I spoke with figured the other price. They do offer a cash discount, but I could not receive that since I have insurance (have yet to meet the deductible). So, if you are someone with insurance who has yet to meet their deductible, it could cost about $70 for a New Patient Visit. Services rendered were fine and Dr. Escott is clearly experienced but the 'initial visit cost' miscommunication will have me looking elsewhere for a more affordable practice where prices are more transparent. read more

But seriously, she has really helped him manage his back issues. and turned around a lingering problem. She was also easy to work with on getting our insurance to cover things. Doctor Escott is professional, knows her stuff, low key, a good communicator, 'family' friendly in all senses of the word. (I bring my twins with me since they were 2!). She gets to the problem and lays out a plan to solve it without the expectation that you will necessarily be coming in every week forever. She is practical - no nonsense - it doesn't get any better than this and I have been to quite a few chiropractors in my time. She is also in network for blue cross..not sure what others. So my son woke up with very bad neck pain. It continued for about 48 hours with no succession in pain. Turns out he was doing parkour with his buddies, and yanked his neck but he didn't feel the affects of that until the next day. I had signed him up for a week of tennis lessons and this happened right before his first lesson. I quickly asked around for some referrals from friends and no one was available on such short notice. I looked on Yelp and found top reviews for Karen Escott. I left a message. I received a call back soon after and there was an opening due to a cancellation for an appointment the next day so I snapped it up. The waiting room is comfortable and clean and our wait was about 5 minutes, maybe less. We met Karen and instantly liked her. She spent some time asking my son questions. Anyhow, I forget the exact name of the issue he had (it was this summer) but long story short, she adjusted him. No, the diagnosis wasn't "subluxation" ;) He started to feel much better within 24 hours. She suggested he come in a few more times. He came back and was feeling after a total of about 4 days. He really was a mess before he came in and it wasn't just a stiff neck; he had really done a number on it. I would definitely recommend! I don't remember the exact cost, but it seemed to be the going rate if I recall correctly. And.....apparently I had overpaid so I was sent a refund (maybe it was an insurance thing, I forget. I guess I should write reviews right after a visit before I lose my memory altogether). If I ever need a chiropractor, or anyone in the family, I will go to Karen Escott for sure! read more

I have been going to chiropractors most of my life and Dr. Escott is by far the best!! I do a lot of activities that destroy my body (Crossfit, weightlifting, running) and she keeps me moving and able to participate in the activities I enjoy. Dr. Karen is an amazing Chiropractor. I don't see regular doctors. For my health and wellness I eat right, get plenty of exercise and get massage and chiropractic treatments. WHENEVER I have any kind of joint or muscle pain I go see Karen and she fixes me with one visit. Her prices are affordable and her knowledge about care and treatment is beyond wonderful. Dr. Escott is a great chiropractor and relies more on her ability and experience than on machines or gimmick treatments. Dr. Escott is simply amazing. I first saw her after my pregnancy for back aches. I felt great after a few visits. For the last 10 years I've dealt with sciatic pain. I've seen numerous chiropractors and physical therapists. I eventually came to accept that I would just deal with this forever. That is, until I met Dr. Escott. I brought up the sciatic pain to see if she could give it a try, as I had nothing to lose. After about four visits, the pain was gone! The pain has been gone for almost a year now. I couldn't be happier w/ Dr Escott than I am at this time. I had a deep, sharp leg pain for over three months, I went to my doctor, I experienced physical therapy at Enloe for 6 weeks, I had multiple X-Rays, I saw an orthopedic surgeon and I was scheduled for a MRI - All to no avail. I went to see Dr Escott twice as an alternative to the former attempts at relief and my pain is now 95% or more gone. She is professional, reasonable and talented. Coincidentally, my wife visited her three times last year and her severe back pain, which prevented her from walking into Dr Escott's office without help has vanished. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a chiropractor. First off it was my initial visit and consultation. I was put in room with 2 other customers being treated at same time. During the 30 min total I was there 3 people were treated. She would bounce back and forth from the rooms over and over and literally spent a minute or two with you at a time. She seems very over worked or does not know how to work with customers. Most my visits to chiropractors on first visit was atleast 45 min to 1 hour long. She did not even look at my back. She literally told me to do an exercise at home, put my hips on some metal brackets for maybe a minute or two, tried to adjust my hip 3 times without any success. Nothing adjusted and she said nothing or maybe didnt even know anything happened. The worst thing happened at end of maybe 30 min and 15 min of treatmeant. Karen had the audacity to charge me $70 for that visit and told me I had to come back at least one more time. I was blown away she charged me and I asked if I would get charged for the next visit and she said yes. I could not believe she would charge me after not even getting full service the first time. She did not care about the bad service either. She called me back next day and didn't even let me explain to her why I cancelled my next appointment and was all defensive. There is way better doctors in town and I would not recommend to anyone to see Karen. She will rip you off and give you no service. Still can't believe she did not offer my money back or half for the terrible service. read more
