It took a long time to be treated and seated. It also took a very long time for a waiter to actually come to the table. Despite these delays, the food did come out fairly quickly once we'd actually ordered and the meals were excellent. You get a significant amount of food for your money. The Kashubian breakfast was loaded with meats and cheeses, a basket of different breads, and lots of spreads (like jam and honey) to accompany them. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the nice weather and the proximity to the Monte Cassino and pier was convenient.

Authentic pierogi? Yes, please…read more There are any number of places in Poland in which to get good pierogi - and as much as I'd love the opportunity to try them all, this is the place where we landed today. It's a cozy and very colorful place, with wonderful aromas and old world charm. The service is, well, decidedly European - you can't be in a rush when you get here, and being all "American" about it won't get your food on the table any faster. I've been living in Spain for eight years now and I find table service to be quite a bit slower than in the US. Then again, they aren't chasing you out of the restaurant when you finish eating, either - they give you plenty of time to just chat with your mates and enjoy another round. As for the pierogi? I would GLADLY come back here!

Dang! This place was soooooo good…read more We made the mistake of rolling up in the afternoon on NYE, not realizing how popular it is, and we were told there would be a bit of a wait. No problem though, because they have a kid's corner with tons of toys. Our kid was pretty stoked and we were glad we didn't have to deal with a potential meltdown. After maybe 30 minutes, we were called and led to table, which was a private corner booth way in the back with enough room for like six people. Seeing the line of people waiting I felt kind of bad, but it was also great to have the space for our kid to stretch out and play. We ended up ordering a ton of pierogi, both vegan (for me) and vegetarian (for my husband). The waiting time was really long, something like 45 minutes to an hour, but it was sooooo worth it for freshmade pierogi. Oh, they were so good! I also got a special beer collaboration they had on offer, and again the beer was amazing. After a couple of days of walking around in the cold exploring the city, it was really nice to spend three hours just relaxing inside and enjoying good food and drinks. I would definitely come again or check out one of their other locations
