It was very difficult to get a hold of her during the initial process, but within 3 wks from the event, communication finally began a breeze. They even created a signature plated appetizer of Peruvian ceviche, which was a hit! The taste of the food overall was a solid 4 stars, but I was very disappointed with the servers and extremely dismayed with the cake cut. We had a choice of steak, chicken or fish for each guest. The servers were confused of what plate went to whom despite us providing them with these specifics in advance. Thus, I had to answer several questions during my wedding reception. Most disappointing was the cake. HALF of it didn't get served! They cut TINY portions for each guest, and much of our delicious cake was wasted, and nearly ALL the guests were wishing to have a second slice. In addition , clean up began much earlier than anticipated which instinctively lead guests to think it was time for them to leave. I was not happy with this at all. The brunch the following day, occurred in a timely matter, and the food was excellent.

First he got a false positive on a rapid test, he was extremely honest and forthcoming with the information- even tried to suggest other chefs. However, thankfully, his PCR came back negative and we were able to have his delicious food after all! The food was absolutely incredible and he even shared a recipe with us so we could make it again. I would 1000% hire Brad again! PS the image below was just the starter! We messaged back-and-forth without any delay to iron out any questions. His communication skills and attention to detail ensured confidence that we were talking to the correct chef hire for our birthday celebration. He arrived on time and ready to cook. Chef Brad provided elegant dining ware, cook ware, and was able to engage in conversation while he cooked. My wife had many questions regarding technique, knife types, and preparation for cooking that he answered diligently. The food, the FOOD, was amazing. The flavor complimented the portion size and the presentation was artistic. Afterwards, he cleaned and left no trace (beyond some Wagyu beef , and some of the deconstructed s'mores). My son recently turned 1 and she made all of the food for his birthday party. Since we are a vegan family, I asked her to make a bunch of finger foods that were vegan. She took on the task and she nailed it. Everyone was happy.... and everyone that attended was a carnivore. :) So that alone says something. Bonnie comes to my sister's home once a week to prep 3-4 meals. She shops where my sister wants her to shop and buys organic products as requested. Each week she gives the receipts to my sister and leaves all the unused purchased food behind. The kitchen is always left clean and she brings all of her own equipment to use for cooking. She is very open to trying any suggested recipes and like I said- I had her make a bunch of vegan food for my son's birthday. Also, the day before the event (since the number of guests went down), we changed up the menu and she was totally fine with this. She even took some of the purchased groceries and returned them to the grocery store since they wouldn't be used. Overall I would highly recommend Bonnie and her skills ESPECIALLY if you want a healthy personal chef.

The concept of fresh wood fire oven pizzas was too enticing to pass up! Grant, the owner and chef, was extremely easy to work with from beginning to end. He showed up at the time promised (2 hours before service) to set up his equipment and as soon as service started, the pizzas kept coming out for 2 hours. As recommended, I also had some other food items for my guests (Green salad, pasta salad, fruit). Everyone loved the pizzas! It was really fun to watch Grant make the pizzas - it was entertainment for both the kids and the adults! We booked the Vespa Party, which included 4 types of pizzas (Margherita, Pepperoni, Cheese, Margh-a-Meata - which is a combination of the Margherita & Pepperoni Pizzas.) I understand that this was the least expensive package, but I still wish that there was more variety on the menu. Essentially, the pizzas in this package were made of all the same ingredients so everything just started tasting the same after a couple of slices. For $100 more, you can add two specialty pizzas to the menu which provides more variety for your guests. It would just be great if there was another pizza on the vespa menu that used different ingredients (sausage for example). And the only issue I had with the pizzas was that some were burnt on the bottom. And that burnt taste was extremely bitter and unpleasant. Overall, I would definitely recommend Pettola Pizza. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. They have recently added "pig roast" to their menu and being the porker that I am, I definitely want to try it! Maybe for a luau themed party.
