With fun and engaging instruction, the Coach Team holds the attention and imagination of these small people en mass, and sends them home with a whole new lexicon of words and tools to improve listening and obedience skills. My child is relating to general daily instruction in a whole new way at home, his confidence with other children on the playground has improved at school, and he has an increased body awareness and confidence. We just experienced our first belt testing ceremony, and it was so sweetly presented that it made Grandpa cry with happy pride in the audience. Great experience here so far, and we look forward to many more years of learning with Coach Scott.

We were so delighted to find Tutu School Strongsville! From the moment we walked in, the studio felt warm, organized, and genuinely welcoming. The staff greets families with kindness and familiarity, creating an environment where children feel comfortable and excited to participate. One of the things my son enjoys most is how personable and engaging the instructors are. They take the time to truly connect with each child-- learning their personalities and making them feel seen and supported. That personal attention has made a noticeable difference--he looks forward to class and leaves feeling proud of himself every time! The owners, Katie and Grant, are also wonderful. Their experience and passion in professional ballet and teaching dance is evident in everything they do. Their enthusiasm, expertise, and genuine care for the families they serve create a strong foundation for the entire studio. The instructors balance structure with imagination beautifully. They introduce real ballet fundamentals while keeping the experience playful and age‑appropriate. Their patience, professionalism, and warmth truly make each class feel special. If you stay there long enough, I believe your dancer (or you!) will find great fellowship/friendships. All the teachers are strong in different ways. They are good mentors to the dancers. The leadership of the studio has a clear vision for the organization. Cleveland City Dance serves a mission of making dance available to all sorts of dancers. They go an extra mile to share the benefits of dance not only with the families and dancers at the studio, but beyond. For example, now that the intensity of Covid has lessened, dancers are performing again in community outreach settings in different parts of the city. I truly believe that this organization teaches high quality, well informed dance technique in a thoughtful, intelligent way.
