As the parents we've been able to assist the kids in class, but also learn for ourselves different MMA techniques for self defense. And from the kids' perspective, they've gained a ton of confidence in their own strength and abilities. The days we can't make it in person, we're able to attend online so we don't miss any classes. They also offer online only memberships so our family and friends that are not local are able to train with us too! There's so many cool events as well like "ninja nights", aka parents night out, so we can drop the kids off once a month and enjoy a date night or some kid-free self-care. They've also started doing cosmic dojo parties, light saber classes, family game nights and so much more so we can come together as a community and enjoy great company. His skill, understanding, and teaching ability of Wing Chun is off the charts. As evidence, his senior students are truly impressive. The depth of his knowledge seems almost unending. Sifu Petree's ability to explain the nuances of each movement, as well as, the when and why the movement is applied is truly refreshing. After each class, I have a new revelation of the inner workings of Wing Chun and what makes this art so effective. I looked at other places, and JAMA is a family environment focused on training, not dollars for belts. When you earn your black belt there, you have truly earned it. The front desk was quick and helpful processing me in forr the drop in, which the running rate in Florida seems to be around $20 a visit. They allow your fist drop in for no charge and will charge the rate after that.
