Amazing!!!!!!!!! We wanted our son to get a professional hair cut since I've been cutting his hair…read morethe last few times. Was time for a change and time to get our son (20 month old) use to it as well. We didn't want to go to any of the kiddy places. Found this place off Yelp and booked an appointment online last night. Was quick and easy! We made our appointment with Melanie, and she was incredible. My son didn't sit still the whole time, and acted like a little boy would at times. But Melanie didn't let it phase her. I felt bad because he was moving and fussing and she reassured me that it was okay versus making me feel embarrassed. We just found our lifetime barbershop and barber for our son! And my husband is already planning on scheduling an appointment for himself (I cut his too lol). Time for some professional cuts!

After suddenly finding out that my usual barber is no longer at his current location and is not…read morebooking appointments, I set out to find another competent barber who could help maintain my new cut, a flattop. Several years ago, I patronized this establishment when the owner was working there, so I knew that he would only hire barbers with a broad repertoire of skills. I called today and asked if anyone there did flattops. The barber who answered the phone said that while they don't get a chance to do many of them, they are all adept at cutting them. Having gone more than three weeks without a maintenance trim, I set up an appointment with Nacho (aka Chris) and was ready to take my chances with what could happen. Surprise! Surprise! He did an outstanding job with the cut. He gave me exactly what I asked for - a high and tight flattop with shaved sides and a nice crisp deck. If I had known he was going to be so good, I'd have let him do a nice military flattop (aka horseshoe flattop). Well, there's always next time. I was impressed by Chris's cordial nature, calm demeanor, and attention to details with the cut. The ambience is the shop is calm and soothing. The TV isn't blaring. The barbers and clients aren't having to talk over loud music either. Anyone who has had a flattop knows that not every barber can do them and make them look good. Thankfully, Chris can!

Story time: Ok so…read morelet's talk about how I got butchered without noticing it until I go to my hotel I was staying at for predeployment and looked closer at my head and notice all this jankiness I'm gonna explain..... because in the moment in the chair I didn't realize my head was messed up, especially not with a tiny 5x5 mirror I was handed to look over my head. So, Not only was my fade absolutely atrocious and the "barber" over confident but I asked to get a hard part and a skin fade. The hard part I asked for,I had been getting for years, IT WAS ALREADY THERE!!!! And she still did this. I have two, TWO, 2!!!...... *sighs*, lines on my head. NOT ONLY did she pull this stunt. She actually CUT. MY. MUSTACHE. off my face... lined up my facial hair. Who in their right mind does this without asking? I was in shock... Ive never wanted to ask someone in my life if they are mentally okay until this day.... Im still confused about what happen. Is this a navy thing? y'all get pencil mustaches at the barber!?!?! I can't put into words how I felt So back to me in my hotel, my mood sets in, rightfully so I think. FaceTiming friends getting straight clowned on for my head. I can't take it anymore I HAD TO turn around and go back to this place and just guess before you read ahead. THEY CLOSED EARLY!!!!! closed early.... man they got me. Of course. OF COURSE THEY CLOSED!! Why wouldn't they lmao. So looking like I tried to cut my own hair with nail clippers I ran over to Custom Kutz next door and got fixed up. Praise CUSTOM KUTZ for letting me in as they were closing and hooking up thing I got. Nothing could be done about my mustache and hard part though.... Just laughs in the chair. Wish I knew the name of the women barber that cut my hair. All I know is she works on base and rents a chair here, she is a larger women with short hair and is super cocky about giving bad haircuts . It's unfortunate because I'm SURE the barbershop as a whole is awesome but this barber I had... they shouldn't let her get a chair anymore or do I don't care. I won't be back hahaha

Let me start by saying I downloaded Yelp just to leave this review. That's how great this place is…read more I usually go to places like the hair Cuttery and the like. Basically been getting the same hair cut for like 10 years. It's fine but it's not great and it gets annoying after a week or so. So I went into Kuttin' Edges and saw barber Bre. I told him I just want something short that I don't have to do much with in the morning and that looks decent, but that he can do whatever he thinks will look good. Well, he is the man. Because it looked great, didn't take more than 20 mins, and was only $35. He's very personable, friendly, and a very talented, smart guy. Will definitely be going back whenever I'm in town.
