Being from London, where everything is massive and the choice is endless, it was absolutely…read morerefreshing to step into Holmens Herr on a recent trip to Goteborg. Ok, fine, it's really kinda off the beaten path in terms of the shopping district, but man, this place was an awesome find for someone interested in high end sartorial ateliers.
The store was immaculately presented, items neatly hung on racks, color and brand coordinated. When you step in the door, the left side of the store is generally casual and the right is largely formal. I have never come across a store that is this well curated. From Eton shirts to Tiger jackets, from Boss ties to Replay jeans. Everything here goes with everything else in the store.
Service was extremely personal and personable. I was shown three items that I loved and formed the perfect outfit. If only London had service quality this good, and curating this stylish.
I have always dreamed about a store like this existing. Too bad it's in Sweden and too bad I didn't have enough Krones on hand :(
5* I cannot WAIT to go back to Goteborg and buy everything in this store.
