    Parking and entrance
    Casey T.

We had such a great time at this casino. It is so clean, comfortable and has such friendly dealers. They don't have the smoke smells and the machines are not overly loud, so it's not as over-stimulating as some casinos can be, the volume level is pleasant. We played roulette for hours then crawled into our RV parked in the parking lot and got a good night's rest. RV parking was great, there were a couple other RVs, well lit lot and security driving around.

We stayed in parking lot with an RV. We were very comfortable. It's pretty quiet at night with security driving around occasionally. Went inside to play the slots.... Came out with a little extra money. . Machines are not as noisy as some other Casinos, which made it comfortable for me. I could hear myself think & could talk with my husband without yelling over the machine noises. Went to the bar to celebrate my winnings.... The bartender was quite friendly. Overall, a good experience.

Kansas Star Casino Managers and how they treat their Patrons
    Candace B.

me and my Family are Patrons of this Casino when we travel through here a few times a year and stay at the Hotel there. We have always enjoyed ourselves until this time. This happened yesterday 5/19/2024. two of the Rudest People I have ever met! One Manager was named Erica at the Roulette Tables and the other Managers name was Jonna or Donna, I couldn't see the first letter of His or Her name badge. We have always played table games and then went back to our room and came back to play or just cash in our chips the next day. Not this time!! They were saying that they would only honor $1 per chip instead of the $5 we paid for each one! over $100 worth of chips! no Thanks, Right!? They also tried to say that we were not permitted to leave their Casino until we had given them their chips back at $1 per chip!!! We ended up cutting our Family Vacation short and coming home early due to these "Managers" Disrespectful AND Rude Behavior!!! please see attached video and pictures or you can also view it on YouTube at... Kansas Star Casino, How management treats their Patrons. I have not heard from any member of the staff or Management Team as of writing this post. 5/20/24

Not as creepy as a Kansas Stare

Not to be confused with the Kansas Scar, which is what happens if you get stabbed while in Mulvane, which I hope you can avoid. Named after Starlight, who has been to Kansas, at which point she was the Kansas Star-Star. Gorgeous Casino in the middle of nowhere on the plains which exemplifies Kansas in some ways. It's beautiful out here and they've done a great job with it. Now granted, I don't like casinos at all and I don't like to lose money here, but I have to also say that as far as casinos go this is one of the prettiest and best-kept, and they have a nice hotel on the premises too.

The glass is always empty at the Kansas Star Casino.

They took out the best part of this state casino. No more card room. If you want to play Texas Hold'em you have to go to the many underground games in Wichita and of course Texas. No reason to go to this state casino as they have a ridiculous machine pay out rate and too much smoke.

Gross stuff all over walls, blood or what appears to be blood all over picture frame, stuff in bathroom floor and shower. Shampoo and soap

Waited an HOUR in the bar line that was being ran by one person. Needs more staff or a better system for sure. Unacceptable at peak hours

I knew the Wichita inheritance money would run out by now and all that is left is the social security and disability people trying to make it rich. No gas stations or stores are stupid enough to gamble on when this country corn hole fake casino will close. Oh BTW they had no poker room. There is more poker in Wichita than at the state run casino and they give you free drinks and free food. If you are looking for an Asian that owes you money, this is the place to find him.

Also, it was easy getting in and out after the concert and there was plenty of parking relatively close in. The only bad thing I can say is in our row AA seats on the side, if the floor crowd was standing (which was most of the night,) you had to stand as well or you couldn't see. What Kansas Star could do is raise their stage a little higher or what I will do is avoid those lower seats. Finally having an adjacent casino helps especially when you get a slot machine to hit and pay enough to cover your concert tickets!

We have gone here numerous times, sometimes once a week, others 2 or 3 times. Overall we have played at this Bingo at least 40 times over the last year or two. One complaint in the earlier reviews was that "the same people win" - well, frankly if that person is seeing that, they are a regular too - just like the "winners" they spoke about. Go often enough, and you will see some of the same people "win". Personally, we now go to their East location and have "won" the last 8 times in a row we've gone. Did we "win" more than we spent? No, not always, but we did "Bingo - some days multiple times. We have no affiliation with the business, and are friends with none of the staff. It's not "rigged" like another person said. Something not mentioned in ANY of the reviews I read - these people are VOLUNTEERS and the bingo is run to provide money to local charity and school programs. These workers are family and friends of the children and programs being supported. The Building itself is an older hall, with small bathrooms and a kitchen. They keep the areas clean, and the ventilation is ok, but with lots of people on crowded nights it can become a little stale. With only a couple of breaks during the games (all too short - only 2-3 minutes each) people have to rush to use the rest rooms and they can get messy. The kitchen is quite good, and for very reasonable pricing you can get some of the best burgers in the state. They carry a nice variety of food and snacks. The games are varied and you can win quite a lot of money. The single game payouts during the early birds and mini's vary based on the crowd and how many of the games are sold (obviously), but the actual amounts are quite reasonable. Regular session games (except the jackpot games) all have fixed payout amounts. On quiet nights they have 40-50 people playing - when jackpots are bigger they can have 100-150 people there. It does get loud, and the staff (depending on the charity being represented that night) can have a hard time keeping the noise down. They have plenty of monitors and ball displays around the rooms. They sell a large variety of pull tab games each night - and with larger crowds the pull tab payouts get larger. You can easily spend an extra $30to over $100 just on pull tabs if you play them all. They have a website for all three of their Bingo venues and it provides daily updates on their jackpot amounts and game specials. Hint: with big payout nights, go early - especially if you want to play the machines. I have two major complaints here. One is the speed of the early birds and early mini rounds. They call the numbers almost as fast as they come out of the machine (they say 4 seconds) - but don't try and count to 4 because you'll fall behind. People pay good money to play here, and if you miss one call - you're done. Some callers are not clear when they speak, and B-15 EASILY can be heard as G-50 - and again you're sunk if you make that mistake. Never buy more than 2 single sheets because they will NOT slow down, and unless you are a numbers speed reader you will NOT keep up. Just raising the count to 5 seconds would, in my opinion, make for a more reasonable play. Two: the machines. When the hall is busy, the WiFi will lag, and some machines will freeze up. You can raise your hand and ask for help with it - but they won't stop calling and I have missed two bingo's in my time playing because of it. People pay a high price to play those machines - when they have an issue the calling should stop until it is remedied, or it feels like they are taking your money. Hope this helps.

No order at which the wines you'd like to taste presented (reds first , then sweet red, then dry whites to sweet whites to dessert or fruit wines). Just bizarre. I mean, they sell wine. But they don't do it with any panache. At all. No customer experience to speak of. You can buy a wine glass from here and of course bottles of wine. Also, no food for sale here. No baguettes or cheese or meats to eat with your wine. Though they let you bring your own food to eat there with your wine. There are a few tables to sit at. I wonder if this place is busy at all on Friday or Saturday evenings? I bought wine bottles from them. The wines are okay. Not fantastic. This is probably because we are in Kansas and not near any body of water. Oh, and the vineyard is on flat ground, not on a hill so water can run off easily. Basically, a basic vineyard. Nothing to write home about. Again, I'm spoiled by the rich Virginia wine country and Virginia wines. And Oregon wines and Pennsylvania wines.
