Let me get the cloth diapering thing out of the way first, because it's a polarizing topic. Then we can move forward with the review. Fair?
Kanga Care sells Rump-a-rooz. They're cloth diapers. It's the foundation of the company, their big seller, their raison d'etre, and all that. If you want to use disposable diapers, I'm not here to judge you. If you want to use cloth diapers, I'm not here to judge you. If you're undecided, then you'll do well to ignore everyone wanting to judge everyone and just go get some facts.
Now that we're all friends, let's talk about the business itself. Yay! Harmony!
The founder of the company created diapers that last the diapering-life of your child, prevent blow-outs more than any other brand I've found, and are almost completely compostable. What I mean is that they're the PERFECT vehicle for catching baby bio-waste. Yes, this is a review of the business, but the diapers are the main lure, so warrants mention.
Beyond the diapers, they sell toys, puzzles, diapering accessories (like pail liners and the stuff you'll need when you travel), and varied assortment of other things that may interest new parents (like a gorgeous Sophie the giraffe gift set). The atmosphere is calm, children are always welcome, and you'll get all the help you need whether you're seasoned parent, or a no-kids-ever type just buying something for a baby shower.
The only caveat is that you can't really be in a hurry. This isn't a fast-paced cafe. This is a calm, quiet, high-service shop. If you can dig that, GO HERE. If you're in a hurry, buy online or call in an order to pick it up later.
