Jams, chutneys, sweets, chocolates and oils are all part of their fare. Their stall is immaculate and so are their prices. £12 for a small box of treats and £28 for a large box. I purchased a small box of various chocolates and the lady manning the stall couldn't have been more helpful in helping me pick. I would highly advise heading over to this stall before Christmas, forget buying an expensive hamper from a chain store, come here and get some local delights for a fraction of the price.

Much to my delight I've just discovered Bite To Savour sell BlackFire Artisan Chilli Sauces. There's no way I'm dropping hints to family and friends trying to subtly communicate I want some of this for Christmas - I believe in treating myself! Thus today I called into Studio Souk and purchased a couple of BlackFire Chilli Sauces as Christmas gifts for me. I opted for the Pink Lady and the Belfast Redhead (love the names!). These chilli sauces are scrumptious, organic, delicious, made from locally sourced ingredients, flavoursome and HOT. As well as BlackFire Chilli Sauce you'll also find chocolate cherries, oils, balsamic vinegars, nut butters, teas and coffees etc at Bite To Savour. A fabulous selection of Northern Irish food and drink which make great gifts or self indulgent treats.

This little stall, Holdens Belgian Chocolates is an importing of some of Belgian's finest little sugary exports. I would say that its fine brewing heritage would take precedent in my opinion but Belgian is also always going to be famous for its chocolate (that and its less well known as the only country in the world with a fully illuminated motorway system) I sampled a couple of the chocolates on offer, the first being an orange praline with dark chocolate. Orange and chocolate will always be a fantastic combination and this devilishly bitter morsel is no exception. I also had a go at a coffee ganache. It was brilliant, not the usual coffee flavouring but a richer smokier flavour akin to actual coffee as opposed to the ones you fine in a box of Roses (or Quality Street, I can't remember) There's a fantastic range available, from white to dark, marzipan (shudder) to minted milk. You can get a selection in boxes of eight or buy larger gift boxes too. Although it's a seriously over used phrase this is certainly one of the chocaholics among you.

I go for Milk 50% and I could opt for a range of choice like dark 70% or mint or chilli and so on. The chocolate whip atop presents a challenge as one must get to the table before the weight of the whip pressing down on the liquid Chocolat forces the chocolate to spill over out of the cup. So much for surface tension versus gravity at .7 and all the other laws of physics at play here it's still after all a cup of hot chocolate albeit a very tasty cup of hot chocolate. The staff no doubt too low paid are a cheerful crew sadly in a country deliberately made miserable by tories who seem to relish in making people earn their poverty while finding even more money to pay themselves. An MP can now count on an annual salary with expenses circa £200k. The hot chocolate isn't the only mug I'm looking at.

The staff is friendly and the environment is very clean and inviting. The place was packed guessing by its popularity in the area. There are many tables to sit at and also a gift shop sort of section where you can buy chocolate boxes. The hot chocolate drink was VERY rich as expected and satisfied my cocoa craving.

Having peanut butter Twixs' is a pretty flimsy premise for a shop in my book, but they are going for it. While they do have probably the best selection of M&Ms in town, and you can get bags of boiled sweets decanted from jars, it is no McKays in Queens Arcade. A wall of cheap plastic gums just isn't my bag of sweets.
