They even have small blankets on each chair if it gets a little chilly. Each table had sugars and other condiments. All their breads and pastries are made fresh. You can see them baking in through the large window. We absolutely loved the Parmesan pretzel and walnut danish. The coffees are hot and strong. They also sell wines. I picked up a nice tote bag for 4 euros. We got there around 7:30am and there was already a line. It's located in a residential neighborhood so street parking or walking there is your option. The plants were nicely manicured and offered a peaceful space to enjoy your coffee. The 2 ladies working were friendly and did their best to service us in English. If I ever make it back to Frankfurt, I'm definitely returning here!

Seating inside is limited, with a tiered bench setup and a some tables but there is plenty of outdoor seating. The bakery was buzzing with customers when we arrived. They also offer a full café menu, making it a great place to relax and spend some quiet time. Seating is limited but comfortable: four tables that seat four people each, plus around six counter seats. English is spoken, and credit cards are accepted, which is always convenient. I highly recommend the apple and walnut cinnamon roll -- it's generously filled all the way through and absolutely delicious. I also noticed a few people working on their laptops, which adds to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. An excellent café overall.

This might be the worst bakery in Frankfurt…read more I've been living in the neighborhood since May 2012 and have visited this bakery on exactly 8 occasions. 7 out of these 8 visits, I came home with stale bakery items. My first visit had been in the afternoon, so I assumed I just got unlucky and received some not so fresh items since it was bit later in the day. But since then I have also bought bread and buns there at 9 am in the morning and everything was still stale and dry! WTF! Only one time, I got lucky and bought a chia bread that was fresh, soft, tasty and just awesome. Of course, then I thought I finally broke my unlucky streak and went back to purchase another chia bread 4 days later - just to get my ass kicked again. They are definitely selling several day old bread labelled as freshly baked. So why are they still around? Because the next bakery is on Leipziger Strasse und people are lazy so nobody wants to walk those 10 blocks. Just look at me: If I am desperate enough I might try K&B again, telling myself that I can always toast everything to make it edible! Actually, I have started to buy pre-packaged toaster buns at LIDL though (which keep a few months) so that I won't have to get to that point again. Very sad, considering this bakery is exactly 3 houses down from my apartment and it would be so convenient to get fresh Brötchen there on the weekend if they were only any good... :(

Originally owned by Heinrich Huck, his Café at Konstablerwache lost over the course of two World Wars, it is now under the direction of Grandson Alexander that the chain presses forward eighty-two years later, a location on Adalbertstrasse opening at 06h30 though none of the items purchased were still warm while the building itself seemed too small for an industrial oven. Apparently Huck's newest shop, bilingual staff explaining that the store opened in 2015 to supply Bread for nearby Restaurants, it was taking suggestions that Cheesecake joined self-selected Pretzels and Pastries, the use of Quark creating springy consistency without a lot of added sweetness while the unsalted Bavarian Knot seemed overworked and baked too long with a resultant chewy consistency. Moving on to a spiral smeared with ground Sesame Seeds, the texture again suggesting it to be overworked or frankly stale, things improved somewhat when Produce got involved, the Apple Danish less-laminated than others but still enjoyable before Rhubarb again stole the show inside a pint-size Pie Shell with Custard and Streusel.
