This definitely is not your hip and modern kind of cafe but it does have alot of charm!
Think of it more as a cosy - old style place with amazing warm service and cheap delicious food.
We found this cafe on a Sunday (not usually opened on Sundays but was due to the footy crowd). There were not many places around to eat, so once we went around the back the friendly host informed us that there would be at least a 30 min wait - and if that was OK. We were happy to wait, and ordered iced coffee's that were promptly served and hit the spot.
The Eggs Benedict I ordered was DELICIOUS. I've since had it one more time and I still think about it days later... so much hollandaise... yum.
But I think the thing that stands out the most about this place is the service. The lady who runs it is so amazingly friendly - in fact all the staff there are lovely. I wish I lived local as I would be there so often as it kind of felt like home :) read more
