The online menu is out of date, so you look it up & see dishes that are but a far flung memory of the cigarette addicted cooks memory. I had my mind & taste buds set on several dishes that are no longer on the real world menu. Shame as Greek meze can be a great nights food. When done right it can be a foodgasm that leads to a good baby. Sadly my dinner here left me with indegestion.

My happiness was complete when I discovered that not only did they stock Irish Soda bread, but the upstairs has English books! It was a little expensive price wise but I guess to be expected because of the location and also because the goods are imported. I purchased some herring, veg hash and a green frosted princess cake to try. My other purchases were Irish cheese and pork sausages and the bill was €32. All the produce at this shop had respectable end dates (I have been to some shops that still have foods with expired dates sitting on their shelves, which I then purchased not realizing, only to come home and throw the food away, so always check now). Will definitely be back for the soda bread and delighted to find a place that stocks it in Brussels!

This is a family run business that is best described as an Italian deli, and then some! Every day at lunch their is a queue that goes on forever and you need to pick a number to get served. People oder in their sandwiches days in advance or have a standing order for every day. Yes, it's that kind of place, it's just so good. I tend to avoid the busy lunch period and I visit on my way home from work. They also do Lasagna, tiramisu, pizze, fresh Italian mozzarella, an array of cheeses and charcuterie and also pasta, both fresh and to cook at home. I love this place more than any deli anywhere in the world. Must visit!
