Now first time I stepped into this place I was intrigued by the name as well as the fact that the staff were....well not Chinese!!!?? Do not let this fool you. Put away your inhibitions, prejudices et al. We are living in a globalizing world. This is very much a a traditional Chinese place, with the front of house staff being relatives.
All this is besides the point, the food here really is phenomenal. It really has kept me coming back for more. I had this preconceived idea about Blackpool, and it being a bit of a ghost town. A town which was once great but now a bit of a hole. Let me tell you my preconceived idea was wrong. his really is a great resort town with amazing little hidden eatery gems such as this in American style leafy spacious peaceful suburbs that are a far cry from the slightly tacky nature of the south promenade. Fact is the further up the shore you go, and you don't have to go far by the way, the place really does start to freshen up.
Go back to old school people come revisit your youth in Blackpool. While your there and happen to be driving up that North Shore, stop off at Kam Boat to pick up a bite to eat, go sit on the beach and have a Chinese picnic!!! Why the hell not !! read more
