I believe that the Doctor truly cares about people but is caught in that situation where he must…read moredecide between having a successful business and actually serving. I liked how he had patients doing warm-up exercises to help adjustments go more smoothly. I like how he worked on you before just attempting to adjust. I like how he's helped people lose weight. I do not however, like the price. For long-term commitments, the price should not be 70.00/session, even if you're given a couple of pieces of foam to bring home. I truly believed it would be much less, considering a one time adjustment cost 60 bucks. My fault for not doing the math when they pushed the long-term commitment. But if I see another 1 star rating due to people being intentionally over-charged, I will re-ADJUST this review. I'm also going to say, for the sake of anyone suffering a bad back. After months of treatment this time and periodically over the years, I still ended up with issues, but then: I got a Deep, DEEP Tissue massage on Christmas Eve. It has helped my back immensely. After the massage and (not kidding) walking on my back, she stretched me out very similarly to a chiropractic adjustment. It adjusted and a day later, I wasn't hunched over in pain. Two hours of unbelievable bliss for 110 bucks + tip, rather than a 4-minute adjustment. Do yourself a big, big favor - get it done. You deserve it! Sadly it was in Philly, and I don't know where to find the perfect Massage here, so let me know if there are any suggestions.

I first started seeing this chiropractor after a car accident. The car insurance company paid for…read moremy treatment until approximately a month and a half after starting treatment. At that point, Health Horizons informed me that they will no longer take my insurance, and I need to pay out of pocket per visit ($55 per visit for approximately 2 months, multiple appointments). I agreed to this. Once they started asking me to make multiple appointments on multiple days of the week, I opted to stop treatment. The total length of treatment was approximately 3 months. Following that, I was suddenly informed by Health Horizons that the insurance company opted not to make any payments to Health Horizons, and I owed them $700. When I asked why it took the insurance company months to inform them of non-payment, they told me, "that's how it works". This chiropractor is the reason why this "form of treatment" has such a negative reputation both in the medical field and also among the general public. This office sees every patient not as a human being, but as a dollar sign. When their checks stopped being written, they suddenly had insurance issues, and I needed to pay up or else! The "chiropractor" actually left me threatening voice mail messages. Avoid these bottom-feeder scammers at all costs! In response to below: I would never bother with your unscrupulous business again. I will only warn others of your shady practice. this insurance is auto related insurance, not health insurance. I know how much insurance I carry and in this case, it was covered by another liable insurance carrier. In office treatment time averages 10-12 minutes per session. The sessions you are saying that are not covered by insurance in a month were about 10. So 10, 12 minute sessions costs $700 out of pocket??? It's sad that businesses like yours exist, taking advantage of people in uncertain times. You reap what you sow...
