The staff in the tattoo shop is very rude. The girl at the reception counter has insulted me on three occasions when I went in to try to schedule a time to meet with an artist. Twice I went to another tattoo shop in town because the artists either made me feel like the tattoo I wanted was a stupid idea or acted like they really didn't want to do it. I felt very much like they didn't want my business, so, they didn't get it. I've had a tattoo done at this shop before, and the quality of the work is very good, but the price was high, in my opinion, for the quality of the work. With the service being so poor and the prices being so high, I've opted to spend my money with another business that can provide the quality, service, and pricing that I'm comfortable with. read more

Unlike any other shop in Springfield, with a unique selection of gifts and apparel. Their body jewelry is top quality, as are their very personable and knowledgeable piercers. One of the things that makes this place special is the multiple store fronts within. Next door they have the classiest adult boutique I've ever been in (not to mention a great lingerie selection, including menswear!). Upstairs contains their tattoo studio and smoke shop, which also has even more apparel and gifts. Perhaps my favorite aspect of Kaleidoscope is the employees. I turned 18 in October and I got a tattoo for my birthday. Josh did mine and I loved it so much I went back to him today to get another one. I love them both and Josh is so nice. He makes sure I'm doing well during the tattoo and he's very easy to talk to. Today I got a rib tattoo and it hurt insanely bad but Josh made it a good experience. I highly recommend him! read more

The head shop of my teens has grown up! It has grown from the place to buy bowls, papers and tapestries to the place to get fashions, tattoos, piercings, incense, and smoking accesories. I had my piercings done here and were my first piercings other than my ears. All of the staff made me feel very comfortable and I'm actually going back in a few days for another piercing!
