I've been coming here for years, and I only wish I'd started sooner. Heatwave or not, I'm outside…read moreworking. As an electrician, I spend hours a day crawling through attics doing the same motions over and over. For years I figured the stiffness and random aches were just "part of getting older." Then I started coming to San Diego Yoga Center, and it has completely changed things. I'm more flexible, but also healthier, more energized, and a bit lighter too. The Bikram class is still a challenge, but now it's something I actually need. I even hunt down Bikram classes when I travel. What keeps me coming back, though, is the people. The teachers are genuinely funny, which makes a tough 90 minutes fly by, but they never lose the structure of the class. You get the laughs and the workout. The community is welcoming and supportive, and it's a big part of why I've stuck with it for years. Can't recommend this place enough!

The two girls in the front…read moregave me an attitude as soon as I came in, I really don't mind a neutral tone ofc but I don't appreciate a rude one. it was like I interrupted their conversation. I asked if they had a water station, which I was given attitude as well for asking this question. It's as if a water station is not a normal thing at a work out studio so I don't understand the attitude in the response. They probably wanted me to buy their water which I can understand, however it was the attitude given to me that bothered me. I took a break outside of the class and there were other girls outside taking a break as well, indicating that they had empty water bottles and the heat was too much for them but they didn't have any water. I gave more stars than I wanted because of the instructor, Sam. She was so nice and accommodating and I loved her energy. She checked in on the people taking breaks, I appreciated her teaching the class!
