I met the owner Kevin and set the appointment for my first barbershop experience on Taraval! As you can tell by the photo, Kevin knows his craft and is an artist ‍!! Super hospitable and just an all around great dude with many years of experience. His shop is super clean and all Covid19 precautions and standards are maintained. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to find a solid barber when I moved to the area a few months ago. Like many, I'm extremely particular about my haircuts especially when I'm investing a substantial amount of money every other week. Little did I know that there was this amazing shop just down a few blocks! When I first called the shop, I wasn't yet quite acquainted with the appointment bookings. However, Wes was super cool and scheduled me for later in the day. Since then, I have cut with him three times and his work has always been great. I didn't have time to come in for a few weeks so my hair was really long but he brought my hair back to life. He's usually pretty meticulous with cutting and I appreciate that he takes his time with it. Highly recommend cutting with Wes! Overall, the shop is a welcoming. Vic was easy to book with, not to mention he gave me the best haircut I've ever received in my life. I told him I needed a classic, pompadour with a drop fade for my brother's wedding the next day, and he delivered. He blends everything so well; the fade was on point. He cuts like he cares about the work he's putting out there, and his technique for scissor cutting the top felt so gentle, and I could feel the chair being moved up and down, as if we he was providing a natural lift to my hair.
